We have it here too.
I looked it up and it doesn't look like it's quite the same thing. Ours just has one small trampoline area and the rest is different stuff...the rope course thing, the climbing area, the soccer thing, which has a sort of 3 team soccer field upstairs and a wall downstairs where you can measure how hard you kick the ball. And there are some slides and these criss-cross elastic things in layers that you can climb. I don't know how to describe it. It's next door to DD's school and they use the school gym, which has an adjoining door, for hoverboards.

Definitively do not read lips in dutch ;)
Well, no, I meant in English. Most people here can speak English, so if you can hear enough to understand them with the accent, or if you can lip read in English, you should be fine. There's always the written word if there's something you can not communicate otherwise. There are very few people here nowadays who can't at least speak rudimentary English.

We have a LOT of places like that here in the states. We call them trampoline parks, but they have rock climbing walls and Ninja Warrior courses, etc. They're very popular.

My sister in law is a nurse and she said that they see a ton of trampoline injuries from those places. In fact, my coworker right now cannot walk without a stabilizer boot because she went to a kids birthday party at one last weekend.

Apparently, this box is the version that I had canceled a few weeks ago.

to explain:

  • Purchased from him.
  • It started to take so long, he promised he would be in a week.
  • Didn't get in a week. Talk to him and apparently his distributor was taking way too much.
  • We agree that if after certain date X he didn't receive the package in his warehouse from the distributor. We would cancel.
  • We cancelled as it didn't go. Ordered from Amazon, Amazon went from "next day " to "available in 3 weeks".
  • Cancelled Amazon after a week of waiting (it now said January 20).
  • re-ordered from the same dude from the first purchase. He said he had the thing in stock and would take 5 days to ship.
  • Received it on the 5th day.
  • Apparently he was surprised I received something because he hadnt shipped my box.
  • I scanned all the tags, he now claims I have to send the box and its contents (the entire product) back.
  • I told him that no way in hell, I already have all my hardware installed in that box.
  • So I sent him a few suggestions to do so he doesnt get in any trouble and I keep this darn box!.
  • Aka send me an empty box with the "shipping label" and code that the mercadolibre (latinamerica version of ebay) asks him to use and I will declare it delivered once I get it. That way the site knows the product was "shipped" and "delivered". Even if I already have the product.
So basically, it sounds like he never canceled the first order when he was supposed to, and it shipped anyway. What a mess! Yeah, I would not be sending that back. It's not your mistake. And who knows how long it would take to get another one if you sent this one back? His track record isn't stellar. Why can't he just cancel the 2nd order?

Yeah, I watched a video from one...I think it was in Illinois somewhere, and it said Safety is number one there, and that the different areas are divided and every thing is covered in foam, etc....well, ours has the same thing and DD's leg slipped right down between the wall and the foam covering and she had a bruise the size of her palm on her leg. They are fun for the kids, but a lot of kids really run wild and don't pay attention to anyone else, so people crash into each other...DS took a ball to the head in the Soccer part. And those slides go FAST....I was surprised there were no accidents there.

Well...here's the thing...for us, it was the best birthday ever. We always did DD's parties at home. I made cake, we played games, did crafts...always fun. But, DD had lots of friends and it was never a problem getting 6 girls to invite...the problem was often getting it down to 6. With DS, the first 2 years we had parties at home...but then came the struggle to find kids to invite. He had no friends. At LEAST Skyzone was a place kids liked to go and there was the attraction of that...and still there were kids who didn't want to come. We always said the kids could invite 6 kids for a party at home, 3 for a party at Skyzone or wherever because it's expensive with the food included and it was STILL hard to get just THREE kids to come. Well, this year, after everything that happened, and he had said he didn't want a party at all because he had no one to invite...when he started at the new school, he made friends and decided he DID want a party. So we let him invite 6...and every one of them was stoked to come. It was sooooooo worth it to finally see him have a great birthday party with real friends. I wouldn't trade it for anything.

It is so wonderful that your DS had a great birthday. I understand that it made you very happy to see your son happy.

You will be surprised, but lip movements change in the same way that accents do.

Some sounds are completely different between languages. And so do the lips.

The online website definitively says canceled and I got my money back (at least I hope so).

The other order is still ongoing.

And I cant cancel, because if the site processed the cancelation, then I would automatically receive the refund. Thus he would be money less and can report me for "fraud".

So I'm pretty sure that this guy has non online store with a few helpers.
One of the helpers shipped the box even if it wasn't supposed to ship. Regardless, the whole issue is stupid.
Because I paid for the Box and I got the BOX, all what is left is stupid bureaucracy.

And I'm definitively not sending it back.
The guy said he would ship the other box in the 22th.
I would get the damn box by January.

SO HELL NO...

So, disassemble my pc completely again.. sending the box back, wait for them to receive the returned box.. get the new box shipped... wait for it to arrive, REASSEMBLE all my computer again.. test for everything to work properly...

That would be a gigantic stupid waste of time.
