I do too...I could eat a whole tray of them.

Here's my Thanksgiving treat for the both of you to share. Just made these this morning. Enjoy!

Happy farm market before Thanksgiving day. The cranberry sauces are simmering and the first cup of coffee poured. Lots of cooking and a few errands to run today. The house is in good enough shape that the boys can finish that up:joyfull::joyfull::joyfull::joyfull::joyfull:
My Thanksgiving “cooking” involved me picking up some home baked cherry and apple pies and a lovely assortment of cookies from a fundraiser yesterday. :p Already dipped into the cookies. They were yummy. :hungry:

I can beat that :p No thanksgiving to cook for :D and Christmas we only have to supply the dessert ( and that will be store bought)

We go out to a restaurant on Thanksgiving (we order nontraditional dishes like fish). The day after, I cook some turkey and veggies for hubs and me (no huge meal--just traditional stuff, and store-bought cranberry sauce and gravy).

And I don't have to even think of dessert, because we get free pie! The reason is that hubs runs a race on Thanksgiving morning, and when the runners finish, they all get PIE!!! :hungry: Sometimes, he grabs two! :hilarious:

I went to the store to buy some pies yesterday, and they were all out. As soon as I checked out with the rest of some Thanksgiving groceries, I noticed that they had restocked the pie shelves. I guess I just shopped too early. All is good though, since instead of the advertised $2.99 pies, I got Sara Lee Pies 2 for $7.00 and I baked 4 of them yesterday. 3 pumpkin, and one apple. The house sure smelled yummy, when the pies came out of the oven.
