I would probably walk or ride a bike. That's so expensive.
Yep...and I walk to the grocery store....I have a big grocery bag on wheels so I don't have to carry everything. And I take my bike to work, to pick the kids up from school, take them to activities, or we take public transportation if it's too far to bike or if the weather is being uncooperative. The downside to Public Transportation is that it takes so long! I bike to my work in 20 minutes, but if I have to take the bus, it's over an hour because I have to transfer buses OR walk 20 minutes from the train station to my work once the bus gets there...so I might as well ride my bike anyway. Having a drivers license would just be more convenient so DH wouldn't have to drive me places. Though I really HATE driving.

Yes. We are all trying to figure that one out so we can get our permanent Disney Vacation. ;)
Yeah, see if I had that much money, I don't think I'd spend it on a big huge house. I'd take some really nice trips to Disney and stay in Deluxe resorts and fly first class. I'd go to Italy, and Greece and all the places on my travel bucket list, and I'd buy copious amounts of books to read on the plane on these trips. I'd go visit my best friend because I miss her. Sure, I'd get a house, because this one is really small and we have very little storage. We have 3 bedrooms 1.5 bath...I'd want 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms and an attic for storage, but that's all I need. I'd get more enjoyment out of the money by traveling. But that's just me.

Mine is going to be quite high for a while. Even though I have one of those large capacity front loaders they only hold so many yards of fleece at a time.:hilarious:
I wish I had a bigger washer. When our old washer cratered, we had very little money to spend on a new one, and I ended up getting one that's SO small. Then it broke just outside of the 2 year warranty period and I called our favorite repairman and he came and looked at it and said I needed to call the company because I would still have SOME warranty, just not full, and he was appalled that the store sold me the model they did because it's too small of a washer for our needs. He said that the model we got is meant for like...a bachelor who is only doing a load or 2 per week, not a family of 4 who is doing multiple loads every day. The amount I use it, I have to do really small loads or I will break it in a year again. So when this one craters, I'm getting a big monster of a thing. Our dryer we just got last year and it's big and I can fit 2 washing loads in it no problem. So I do two washes and only run the dryer once. But it would sure save time to be able to do the washing all in one load, too.0

Laundry is the bane of my existence. My husband is a flooring installer and he showers every day when he gets home, so he wears 2 days worth of clothes a day...plus sometimes pjs. Between having so much laundry and trying to wrap up my classes, I'm lucky if my laundry ever sees the inside of a drawer. :hilarious:

{{HUGS}} I remember that nightmare. The 2 rooms we invest money in are the kitchen and laundry because of the amount of use ours gets. I hope the cattle sells for enough for you to get your license and a new washer.

Sounds like you need a Lowes or Home Depot out there. Was at Lowes yesterday and they have up to 40% off on appliances.

I don't have a problem actually doing the laundry. The issue happens once it is all done and then needs to get put away. I have an issue with wrinkles and I need to iron some things before they get hung. So I always end up building a pile in the basket because I have to be in the mood to iron.

I know that feeling all too well! It's weird...I look at the hamper, and there's maybe a load and a half, then I look again the next day and the stinking thing is overflowing. It's making little laundry babies when I'm not looking. :cautious:

Thanks!
I'm about to leave to meet my boss, wanted me to work the entire week while on vacations.. nope..nope. :|

not that I could lol, my tiny laptop is not up to the task.
Anyway back and about to go to work.
Will slowly tick up the photos.

In the meantime.. have a squirrel from the Chapultepec Castle in Mexico city.
There were mostly grey squirrels, but there were some black ones as well.
