LOL, no I'm totally done down there. It makes me feel like I am on another planet. They can have at it and I hope they have fun. I'm never looking at another post down there again.

I have only gone there twice I believe. Once recently 'cause something was being spoken to about it in the members lounge. Problem is I can't read and ignore it like I normally do if I peek at News & Rumors. These thread topics in Political have real life impacts on people and many seem to disregard that. I have little tolerance for the lack of compassion or hurtful thoughts and words people type, same goes for me in life off these boards. At least the dicey conversations in N&R usually end with the phrase come-back I've read a thousand times IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT DON'T GO. I can deal with condescending, unoriginal comments easier than mean.

The nice thing about living up in the middle of nowhere is we do trunk or treat because the houses are a bit spread out. I sent the candy with a neighbor and am in a nice toast warm house in Olaf jammies:joyfull: I think it's better than regular house to house for the younger kids because it's well supervised and everybody knows everybody:joyfull: My ds headed over a couple of towns to a more densely inhabited neighborhood with his bff to get more loot which he plans on selling out of his locker:hilarious:

Oy :p It did give me a flashback though. We were in a closed session board meeting being briefed on what they WANTED us to know, (cause other info also often came painfully slow) and we came to a personnel issue which is closed session.
Bus Driver Selling Candy to Students Before and After School on Bus. :jawdrop: :cautious: :banghead: Note: Same bus driver was equally creative and charged students $1 every time they wanted to change their seats. Same bus driver put bus in deep ditch and bus was leaning heavily to the right. Bus Driver called for a Bus tow and a new bus. Bypassing school. Bus Driver got out of bus. Closed door and stayed outside and left students alone inside the bus. :devilish:

Bus Driver Gone.

Me, one they wattle it down from all those proposals that have the transit, Universities and lifestyle they are looking for what they are really likely looking for who puts up the most attractive TIF proposal.

Yep, there's always those. Again, all the local bureaucrats falling all over themselves to pee away our hard-earned tax dollars 'cause it's "in the city's best interest". Aren't they just little gems...!!! :bored:

Well hubs broke his ankle in two spots, but there was no displacement of the bones. But it is his right ankle so no driving for 6-8 weeks. That is a huge bummer especially with his job he has to drive around quite a bit.
Oh my. That's going to be rough. I've driven with a sprained right ankle and had a hard time, so I'm glad he won't be, but ugh, that will be rough.

And it's not even a good story! Just, "Oh, he fell down the steps." Too bad he didn't break it playing football or something.

Oh my, hubs was just talking about the stuff he was going to do at church/work tomorrow. He was talking about moving a chair and something else. I asked him, "How are you going to do that while balancing on crutches?" This is going to be a long 6-8 weeks if he doesn't listen.

And runs the risk of it not setting correctly. Jiminy Cricket!

Well, one of my friends is here overnight. She just moved, and according to her roommate, there's a lot of riff raff on Halloween that they don't see during the rest of the year. Which involves car vandalism. So she stayed with another friend last night and was here tonight (her roommate also left). We had dinner and watched Princess Bride. Which she had never seen. She's from Liberia, so we have to get her up to speed on some of these things. :joyfull:

Yep, that's the main draw...darn good Tex-Mex at really good prices...!!!!! :hungry: As you can imagine, we also have other places around here that are better, but, not by a whole lot either, and yes, they're indeed pricier.
I actually can't remember the last time I had their fajitas, though. :cyclops: These days, I usually order something like the chicken flautas, the stacked enchiladas, or the Elvis memorial combo platter.
Also, do ya' have any interior pics, please? Curious as to the atmosphere in comparison to the 4 locations we're familiar with. :)
Glad y'all enjoyed...!!! :)

Next time. We actually opted to eat in the enclosed porch this time as winter was coming and it was so pretty outside. The glass folding doors were closed to the outside 'cause it wasn't that warm and the windows to the interior seating were open. Even the floor and wall tiles were so pretty plus everything from the ceiling. Nothing will likely be that clean again-It was open less than a week when we went.

The story will evolve by the church busy bodies that @ajrwdwgirl pushed hubs down the stairs. ;)

Just invent a good story. When I cut my pinky finger with a kitchen knife (if fell off the counter and hit my pinky on the way down) it was such a boring story that I told people I was attacked by zombie velociraptor sharks. No one believed me, but it sounded way better than a lamo "My knife fell".
