LOL, no I'm totally done down there. It makes me feel like I am on another planet. They can have at it and I hope they have fun. I'm never looking at another post down there again.
The nice thing about living up in the middle of nowhere is we do trunk or treat because the houses are a bit spread out. I sent the candy with a neighbor and am in a nice toast warm house in Olaf jammies I think it's better than regular house to house for the younger kids because it's well supervised and everybody knows everybody My ds headed over a couple of towns to a more densely inhabited neighborhood with his bff to get more loot which he plans on selling out of his locker
Me, one they wattle it down from all those proposals that have the transit, Universities and lifestyle they are looking for what they are really likely looking for who puts up the most attractive TIF proposal.
Oh my. That's going to be rough. I've driven with a sprained right ankle and had a hard time, so I'm glad he won't be, but ugh, that will be rough.Well hubs broke his ankle in two spots, but there was no displacement of the bones. But it is his right ankle so no driving for 6-8 weeks. That is a huge bummer especially with his job he has to drive around quite a bit.
Oh my, hubs was just talking about the stuff he was going to do at church/work tomorrow. He was talking about moving a chair and something else. I asked him, "How are you going to do that while balancing on crutches?" This is going to be a long 6-8 weeks if he doesn't listen.
Yep, that's the main draw...darn good Tex-Mex at really good prices...!!!!! As you can imagine, we also have other places around here that are better, but, not by a whole lot either, and yes, they're indeed pricier.
I actually can't remember the last time I had their fajitas, though. These days, I usually order something like the chicken flautas, the stacked enchiladas, or the Elvis memorial combo platter.
Also, do ya' have any interior pics, please? Curious as to the atmosphere in comparison to the 4 locations we're familiar with.
Glad y'all enjoyed...!!!

And it's not even a good story! Just, "Oh, he fell down the steps." Too bad he didn't break it playing football or something.
Good grief...
I hafta' repeat last nights joke...
For some reason the setup line wasn't there...
OK, dad joke...take 2...
What do you call a concert that only costs $0.45...?
50 Cent featuring Nickelback.
Yes, @MinnieM123 would have loved yesterday. Low 30's with high whipping winds that made your bones ache to the core.
Yep Minnie weather.

Oy It did give me a flashback though. We were in a closed session board meeting being briefed on what they WANTED us to know, (cause other info also often came painfully slow) and we came to a personnel issue which is closed session.
Bus Driver Selling Candy to Students Before and After School on Bus. Note: Same bus driver was equally creative and charged students $1 every time they wanted to change their seats. Same bus driver put bus in deep ditch and bus was leaning heavily to the right. Bus Driver called for a Bus tow and a new bus. Bypassing school. Bus Driver got out of bus. Closed door and stayed outside and left students alone inside the bus.
Bus Driver Gone.

We had a bus driver that liked to talk on their cell phone, silly person forgot we have cameras on our buses. Silly person left with no unemployment checkOy It did give me a flashback though. Just invent a good story. When I cut my pinky finger with a kitchen knife (if fell off the counter and hit my pinky on the way down) it was such a boring story that I told people I was attacked by zombie velociraptor sharks. No one believed me, but it sounded way better than a lamo "My knife fell".Oh my. That's going to be rough. I've driven with a sprained right ankle and had a hard time, so I'm glad he won't be, but ugh, that will be rough.
