Me, my home being the home of 'tool central' and also I curse Harbor Freight as it is the show Tool Time in real life. The house has tools beyond any reasonable need. Enter the lovely piece of machinery the upscale miter saw. Certainly this saw could have been a Godsent tool 30 years ago when upgrades were happening to the home. 25 years after the purchase of the home not so much. It sits proudly on the workbench. Shiny and new. No saw dust remnants to be found. Likely a dream of youthful home ownership.
But a story of 5 years ago a real nice power washer appeared in the garage. It was pretty and shiny. Problem was we had nothing to utilize the power washer on. I questioned the purchase not because I questioned the need for tools but what the heck this big thing would ever be used for as I could not think of that we owned on our property that needed power washing. A Tim the tool-man moment. It went back. It didn't go over well. The miter saw though still sits proudly on the workbench. Shiny and clean.
I honestly believe AARP Men need a Cherry Car to work on. At least that has a end goal. How's yours going
@Wrangler-Rick ??? You've been miss'n in the mist.
