So...I got pulled over today. For the first time ever.
I made a right turn, saw the cop behind me, and was like, "Wait? For me? I didn't do anything."
So I pulled over and he walked up to my car. He didn't ask for my license a d registration, first asked how I was doing, and then if I know why I was pulled over. I told him I had no idea, because I honestly didn't have a clue. My break light was out. He asked me if it was my car, and I said no; it belongs to my parents (technically, although I pay gas, insurance and routine maintenance). He said okay, and then told me he needed my license and registration and as long as everything was good, I'd be off with a warning. Of course, everything was good, so I got let off with a warning, and this cop was pretty darn nice about it. I think the fact that I apologized and said it was due for an oil change so I would have that fixed as well helped my case. It's going in Monday for the repair.
