Good morning, the sun is supposed to make an appearance so with luck I can get to the pool. I'll admit I'm not so upset about being able to ketchup on Mount Laundry and not having to water plants

I've thought of bringing Mt Laundry to the Laundromat to just be done with it in a few hours. It has mounted.

Don't be too tough on yourself. I had a hard time staying up until 8 last night

I run nocturnal. Now if I could actually sleep in I'd be OK. We have several homes being gutted around here. All sorts of construction noises starting at 7am. Sleeping not an option.

Got my first shot today. Not to be crude but it's about an inch to the left of the top of my buttcrack and I have a bruised cheek. They told me I was too dehydrated for an IV so no sedation. They sprayed me down with some stuff and I thought of you and buried my face in the pillow. They did put my legs in restraints because the nerves were making me kick like a mad horse. Boyhowdy I knew when they were putting in the meds but it was 15 minutes tops. The nurse gave me a pop and Oreos for doing so well.

The system is wonky here this morning. I responded (see next post beneath this one, but I also just now noticed that your post ended up here without my response, just "floating"--prior to my sending "my" response in the next post.

The most haunted place in the Stanley....they have a ghost hunt at mid-night, they have had people so scared they have ran out of the place....the windows are boarded up, to keep these spirits away....all of the mattresses of the diseased are in this building....I'm not that brave...no mid-night haunts for me....View attachment 215353

We've had to storm days this week that flooded everywhere. Yesterday I have to take off my shoes and wade through a mini lake to get to my daughter's classroom. I love rain, but you can definitely have some of ours!!

A week-late YAY...!!!!!

Did y'all purchase the car used from a Ford dealership? If so, that explains why they also offered the protection plan. Of course, it doesn't matter who offers them (there are tons of independent places out there that do these days), the way they're set up, the house always wins in the long run, even if they hafta' pay the occasional jackpot.

Congrats on y'all's "jackpot"...!!!

Bingo. Yes, we bought the used car (Chevy) at a Ford dealership. We bought the Ford protection plan, because when we initially refused it, the salesman then cut the price in half. (One lesson learned--whatever car salesmen try to sell you, say no, and then see what happens.)

I absolutely agree with you, that the house always wins on those. It's only paid out for repairs twice, and they really weren't all that expensive repairs either. Oh well, at least the brochure they gave us was pretty.

I like Joffery's too. That Nestle stuff was horrible. I couldn't drink it. We brought our own throw the years. Not fond of the new. Back to packing our coffee.

For a long while I'd only get coffee in front of EPCOT or the restaurants that didn't serve swill. Nestle=swill

good idea,as computers can get damaged in the long run by dust getting inside the moving parts. Like the cpu fan and thus making the machine overheat.

That's the excuse my dh gave for getting an air compressor

Yes, yes -- even a "montage" of TRs into one play. It's kinda like when you have a book of short stories, but it's all in one book. I think Buddy has plenty of material to work with!

It is squishy here. The river came down a foot but still over. The grass has mud on it, yuck. We are in the middle of founders day festival here and the town smells like a sweaty foot.

My fault. I wished for rain (not a monsoon) so I wouldn't have to water.

Happy Farm Market Friday our big one opens today and I'm not missing it even if the rain doesn't stop. We go every year for opening day, the we being my dh and James. My older ds would rather just hang out at home and watch a movie
