My Disneyland trip is just 8 weeks away. I ordered our park tickets on Friday, and they are already in the mail. I know that for a fact, because I just got off the phone with Disney. I was traveling with my friend Annette, and her daughter Carissa, but she called me earlier today to tell me that she has to cancel the trip for her and her daughter. Her younger son, who is handicapped, must have major surgery in just two week's time. Recuperation period is about 6 weeks. I couldn't stop the 2 extra tickets from being mailed, and of course the airline won't refund her money. At least I could change the hotel reservation, and get a smaller room just for me. I just feel so bad for Clarence that he has this severe medical problem.

That's too bad that they can't go to Disneyland. Are they the people you went to WDW with last year? Did you book a Fantasmic dining package or even an on the go pagackage or are you just going to go with a fast pass for Fantasmic. I guess I'm assuming you will see the updated show.

We leave this week for Disneyland, and we are going to D23 Expo as well. We were really lucky to get a dining package for opening night of Fantasmic.

I've never been to a Chick-Fil-A. Guess we don't have those around here. Too bad--I like chicken. We've got tons of Mickey's and Burger Kings (and some Wendy's), but no Chick-Fil-A.

There is something in the Chicken or breading that makes me very ill, very quickly. 3 times within 15 minutes. Took the 3rd time to make the correlation.

They actually got runout of town by the students of UoI where my DD attended. The students boycotted chick and they had a coveted spot in the student union over their stance of anti diversity and funding of such. Ultimately the University said bye bye.

I'm glad today is better. I heard about the full moon yesterday and had a slight panic, but then I remembered I didn't have to deal with pre-teens or teens that day. Then I breathed a sigh of relief. Then I felt bad for my hubs, he was going to be at bible camp with them!

I get sick when I eat KFC. I've tried many times because Hubby loves it so much. KFC is tasty to eat but after I just can't handle it. I don't mind Popeye's, although I haven't eaten there too much. I like that their chicken has a little spice to it.

My aunt ended up deciding to keep her cat. But...I'm thinking we're going to get a kitten. Belle basically stopped eating while I was away, and the other day, she decided to tell me she wasn't getting enough attention by pooping on my bedroom floor. So...she needs a buddy. I called the shelter to ask what animals they had available, and they're going to have some really young kittens available possibly next week. And all-black or tuxedos, which is what I would want. So...yup. The plan to get another cat stands.

We didn't have Chick-Fil-As near us until recently and still the closest one is an hour away. I haven't been to that one but I went to the one in the Orlando Airport food court. I got a chicken sandwich and hubby got the nuggets and neither of us were super impressed. Perhaps it was because it was in the airport.

I've never been particularly impressed with it myself, but if I remember correctly, one of their most popular things is waffle fries, which I really don't like. If I'm going to eat chicken, I'd rather go to KFC. But, I also have to admit that in recent years I have boycotted Chick-fil-A because of personal issues I have with the company. So I wouldn't eat there even if I liked it, but it helps that I don't.

Sympathy like. Poor guy! Didn't they have travelers insurance? That should cover the flights because it's a medical issue that keeps them grounded.

Yes, I went to WDW last August with Annette, and all three of her handicapped kids, and her aunt. This vacation was just going to be me, her and her older daughter. Then this surgery came about. Clarence was not ill when we first planned this trip. The first time I don't add the trip insurance to the reservation, and this happens. My park tickets came today. Ordered those way too far ahead of time, I guess. Now I have three tickets, and it's just me. Not a good day. Not a fun situation for Annette and her family. My vacation is now 8 weeks away.

Whelp, the hardest part is over. I convinced my dad to let me get a kitten.

And now I have placed an order on Amazon for toys, a litter box, a carrier, and scratchers. I'm going to call the shelter on Friday for an estimate of when they'll have kittens. Might go on Saturday, if not, then next week.
