If I could my house would be 80 in the winter. I am not a fan of high electric bills though. ;)

Yes, DWifey's preference is right about there, as well.
I don't mind so much during the day, but, at night, if it's that warm in the house, I need some air movin' around me to sleep better, thus the fan on my side of the bed.
She'll be in a t-shirt and full-length pajama bottoms under a sheet, comforter, and 2 small blankets, and I'll be in just my "unmentionables" laying either on top of the covers, or with them peeled off of me.
I've posted this many times before, but, there were only 3 periods of time that DWifey and I pretty much always agreed on the thermostat setting...when she was pregnant with our 3 kiddos...!!! :hilarious:

HA! I just use the DD, DS, DH for convenience...faster than typing everything out.

Same here.
Plus, when I first became a member of the old Disney site, I simply thought (since it was a Disney site and I had not been a member of any social media site before or since, except this one), that DW, DD, etc., meant Disney Wife, Disney Daughter. etc....!!! :hilarious:

We have a huge fireplace we use from fall to spring but it doesn't heat the whole house. We go through a cord of wood on a really cold winter.

I remember my pop buying a cord (maybe it was a half cord...?) of wood every fall when we lived in No Cal to burn in our fireplace there during the winter. We had central heat, but, no central air. The fireplace pretty much kept the front part of the house warm, but, we still used the heater, as well. Just not as much.
When we moved back to Texas, we got wood from one of the family farms.
When we bought our home, we also got some wood from the same farm, but, also got a bunch from the 35 acre horse, cattle, and goat ranch that used to be right next to our lot in our dead end (it's now all a developement, and has been for about 15 years, or so...?).
The elderly gentleman that owned the ranch
used to cruise around his property on a 4-wheeler pretty often to check things out. With his permission, we used to let our young kiddos feed the livestock wilted vegetables, apples, etc. We became trusted neighbors.
Shortly after, we had a crazy ice storm one winter, and old trees and branches came down all over that acreage. We ran into him on his 4-wheeler when things began to thaw, and he gave us his phone # and said to just call ahead and take all the fallen/dead wood we wanted.
We definitely took him up on that offer...!
We had access to free firewood for several years after that...!!! :)

DD has a Lenovo tablet and so far it's been nothing but problems. We had to send it in for repairs, it took twice as long as it was supposed to and then they ended up giving her a brand new one because they couldn't fix it. She's had the new one for all of 2 weeks and it's doing the exact same thing the old one did. Not impressed.
Thats why I say "now lenovo".
They USED to be good when it was recently bought. Because they still had IBM quality.
Now they are pretty generic.

Call me angry, just fix Figment. It could be easy to do more.....think of the past....Disney doesn't get it anymore.
I agree. They should see that from the holy rocks they created in FLE vs universals Not bad but not Harry Potter realm. Pitiful in comparison Disney was once the icon to set the bar. Now it is lay overs like frozen Mexico stitch nemo etc vs investing in new experiences. Cheap out. It is more drunk fests they market.

And their answer is replacing the interactive children's play area on the second floor with that prelobby are being being a DVC lounge. *confused* That makes the pavilion better how for the vast majority of guests and children how? Oh wait, it has a Coke Freestyle machine for a small percentage of guests how? Cutting Edge upgrade? Pretty much replacing WOL with Wine seminars. A strange business model.

Yes, there is almost always a least a little air moving outside. Inside, not so much. I sleep with a small fan on my side of the bed year 'round, no matter what the temp. I just sleep better with the circulating air. Plus, I think the white noise hum of the fan helps too. :)

I don't do well with blowing air with my allergies. I actually removed my ceiling fan for that reason, it seemed to kick up the allergines. I get the noise. I sleep with a TV on. I can ignore it just fine but it i the noise factor that keeps mind from going into its own overdrive, it is my white background noise. My DS and DD also sleep with a TV on for background noise.

Good grief!!!!!
If I remember correctly, most of our regular dresses when I worked at the Disney Store were about $39.95-$44.95.
We also carried some more intricate ones that were about $69.95.
And, at one point, I do remember us having the ones that came in a nice bag like that (I specifically remember Belle) that were $99.95.
I remember thinking how crazy-expensive that was at the time, but, I don't remember any of them being over $100.
I quit working at the Disney Store less than 4 years ago. If those dresses are of similar quality, that is one heckuva' price increase in that time period...!!! :cyclops:

I agree. $200 for a child's dress up costume is beyond indulgent.

The world blames the millennials for everything. Oddly this kind indulgent behavior came long before Millennials came of age.

Today I read about the new hair doo for Biddity Boop whatever salon. A lesser hair doo for more money to pump more children through. Uproar.
No way in Gods Green Earth I'd have paid over $100 for a hair bun for my DD head to ride a coaster in the MK. As many trips my DD had from 2 months old on...never once did she ask or want $100 upcharge for a premium hair doo nor does she feel slighted by her parents. Sometimes we parents do things right despite the ridiculous Disney pressures. Me a Tomboy. Raised a Non-princess type gal. What can I say hundreds of dollars per visit saved.
