That is where we differ, I think that anything added to Epcot will pump new life into a beautiful, but, dying park. I think that Frozen fits perfectly into Norway, as will Rattatouille and what could fit better in Seas, then Nemo. Now for Imagination, the current incarnation of Figment, to be blunt, sucks! It isn't even close to the original Figment personality and is only ridden by me if there is nothing left to do and I want to get out of the heat. In my mind, with or without Figment it has no redeeming qualities. It would have been better to bury Figment, as he was, and invent a new character then to make a dual personality out of a great character. If they can't duplicate Figment, put him in the hall of memories and move on.Like I've said before adding to an IP as an addition is one thing, ie Rattatouille ride in addition to what's already there or what they've done with the Seas would/has been a good idea. Frostrom, although I love the ride is in the wrong place and don't get me started on imagination! Figment is timeless!!!
Is it wrong for me to say that all spiders must die? I throw all creepy crawlers in the toilet and drown them.
I could never live in Australia where spiders are huge.
I had a spider escape under my chair in my room the other night. Turned the light on and it scurried into the darkness. Now I have to sleep with one eye open![]()
I have that postcard.![]()
This is so true! This is one of the bigger reasons I think world travel is so important. I've watched people do laundry in a bucket of water, then do dishes in the same bucket of water, then use that water to boil the vegetables for my dinner. And yep, I sure did eat it (and it was delicious, if you could forget about the water thing, LOL).
What is an IP? You guys keep mentioning it, and I've been wracking my brains, but can't figure it out.Like I've said before adding to an IP as an addition is one thing, ie Rattatouille ride in addition to what's already there or what they've done with the Seas would/has been a good idea. Back in my backpacking days we used to get our water from mountain creeks. Then we'd purify it with iodine tablets that turned the water a burnt orange-ish (think clay) color.
A fun color for water, but, it was water, and we knew we weren't going to get sick.![]()
Nice. All mine were ones I took, but I'm not a pro at all. My favorite professional one of my DD is hilarious. She was sooooo done and the photographer was trying to get her to dance or something... She was not amused. So cute!!
Candids really are the best. Toddlers always find a way to bring it the toddler life in any professional photo shoot
It took me eight months to nail down a time my husband was available far enough in advance and so was my favorite photographer. The day before the shoot my daughter fell and skinned her noseAND I wanted her to bring a stuffed animal that get great grandmother had given her at Christmas, but instead she brought the ugliest creepiest dog stuffie she grabbed at a gas station the week before on our way to the in-laws. But that's life with a toddler. Completely loveable chaos.

And now the little one is down for a nap so I'm baking a blue cake because that's what flavor she wanted him to have![]()
Its worse when they have their sack of babies open.I had a spider escape under my chair in my room the other night. Turned the light on and it scurried into the darkness. Now I have to sleep with one eye open![]()
Belle definitively doesnt like you gone XDThe vet did end up putting Belle on prescription food, which she seems to love so far. She did have another incident last night where she came to me meowing because she needed to use her litterbox. I plopped her in her box and massaged up by her tail, which gets her to use it. Today she's just been wanting attention basically non stop. Between her just wanting attention and my allergies being terrible, we're kind of having a lazy Saturday here. Laundry is getting done, and at some point this weekend I need to clean bathrooms and vacuum. Especially my parents' bathroom so my dad doesn't suspect I've been using it, even though I've been using it the entire time.![]()
Nope...as much as I enjoyed the Frozen ride and think it was great they added it, it does not belong in Epcot...."Experimental prototype community of tomorrow"...Frozen just doesn't fit there. And as the world showcase is that...a showcase of countries around the world, a fictional country does not belong. One of these things is not like the others...one of these things just doesn't belong. I think it fits SOMEWHERE in Disney, but not in Epcot. I'd like to see Epcot go back to its roots and be about science and technology and learning. The progression of Industrialization and advancement in technology in Future world, and Cultural diversity in the WS.. I LOVED that as a kid...it was fascinating to me. And the Journey into the Imagination back then was amazing! It was one of our favorites. They should never have changed it to the current one, but I think if they could recapture what it used to be, it still has a place. At least it fits the theme of innovation...the creative process. Epcot was all about the Real world and education, not Disney characters. And as much as I love the characters and the MK is GREAT for that, I liked that Epcot wasn't like that...that Disney could make the real world interesting to kids without the use of cartoon-ish characters, etc. That is where we differ, I think that anything added to Epcot will pump new life into a beautiful, but, dying park. But spiders eat mosquitoes! I don't mind the spiders. Mosquitoes need to go!Is it wrong for me to say that all spiders must die? I throw all creepy crawlers in the toilet and drown them.
