Thanks! I'm really looking forward to it.

Not totally looking forward to packing though. I never seem to pack a 'neat' suitcase. Everything gets in there that needs to be there, but it's typically a tiny bit messy.
I hear ya. Mine is never neat. My mom always ends up coming and repacking. After she's sufficiently complained about my packing.

My next trip will be while she's in Hawaii with my dad and brother, so I won't have to hear about my lack of ability to pack neatly. I can pack it exactly as I want.

I was really planning on packing, but now I'm watching the Bachelorette... whoops

So I saw a quiz today. It was if you were a critter who resided freely at
Walt Disney World what critter would you be?

A Disney Duck

Id take the duck.

Bunnies = would get eaten by the snakes..
Squirrels = a lot of people hate them. XD

No danger wise? Id take the Squirrel (pretty fast, can jump, can go and climb buildings/trees )

Dear Lord! While at times in hindsight I should have looked at my sons suitcase I don't believe I looked at either of their suitcases since they were in their early teens. We do swap a couple of complete wears for the day and a swim suit between each others suitcases in case someones gets lost in airline h*ll but beyond that I was done with all that long ago.

Hello everyone, and happy Monday! Since I leave for Alaska on Wednesday (and I'm taking a half-day at work tomorrow), I chose to come into work today... and there are only 3 of us at the office. Bit of a slow day, so I'm going to start playing 'catch up' on the 397 messages that came before this

My next door neighbor is doing an Alaska Cruise this week. They are heading up sometime tomorrow.

It's raining:( so the guys and I went to get mulch(something I should have gotten to 2 weeks ago:oops:). I also replaced my hand mixer(sale plus discount) my old one was a black Friday Walmart deal and preJames. I got my monies worth out of that sucker:joyfull:

I'm sorry, rain on a holiday weekend is usually reserved for Illinoisans I sent you the slingshot back and a recipe for Groundhog Galosh. We had 3 perfect days. We had some fun and I did some yard stuff which always makes me happy, planting and playing in the dirt. I finally put cuc's in the ground, it has been such a yo-yo few weeks with the temps. But all the tomatoes are in and cuc's, peppers, now the only thing I'm missing is my basil and cilantro along with parsley. A 3 minute plant when I get to it. I only have one palm that is a little goofy.

But we had some fun this weekend. We went to timbucktoo to an outlet today after I finally set the shepherds hook for life. Only bought a pair of shoes but will be perfect with shorts and Capri and a few very casual dresses. Followed by a favorite of mine Cracker Barrel

On Sunday we went to Brookfield Zoo. Been 1.5 years. We've been heading down to Lincoln Park Zoo for a while in Chicago mashing it in with other things. It was fun but the Shedds Dolphin show is superior to Brookfield though always fun.

My DD launched her waterpark for year 10 that she part time manages. It is an awesome place and I can't wait to sail down their lazy river soon. Just not this weekend. Too many important people around. One of the Universities she is applying to for open positions, well above and beyond what she does for her current University this 10 year Waterpark Gig offers so much of what they are looking for from scheduling, relating to teenagers and recruiting and she is a recruiter at high schools for the Waterpark. Sometimes things meld well. Fingers crossed for her as she has submitted her resume pretty much across the country in every direction.

I agree. We did a sit down meal at Mama Melrose. The food was okay, not bad, but more in the middle range. We had another problem, with the food....came with cheese, and had to send back. The check arrived and one to many meals charged. It was taken off the bill, we did get an apology this time. But, I'm wondering how many people check the bills before paying them...The restaurants seem to have a lack of caring. Out table was not clean. We did clean it though. We bring wet wipes for that reason. So many customer's and very little front of house people. These cuts don't make me want to ever have another sit down, premium price meal!
I'm sorry to hear that because MM was one of our favorite meals last trip. Guess that's another one I'll have to keep my eyes on the reviews:(

That was a fun quiz, but I don't remember where I saw it:( Anyhoo I'm a duck:inlove: I'd have no problem what so ever coming back as one of those. Disney and not having to worry about a swimsuit=heaven:inlove:

Thank you but they weren't needed. I was able to get the mulch and because I have one ds and my dh home today I can send them outside to get some work done without getting under foot today:D My old hand mixer died a couple of weeks ago so that needed replacing and with the sale and discount it cost me next to nothing:joyfull: best yet i can enjoy today's nice weather in peace and quiet except for the weed whacker(which I won't be running):hilarious::joyfull: Good luck to your dd
