I brought in the morning paper today, because I wanted to read about the ring. It actually has more than the aforementioned 108 diamonds. There are 108 diamonds on the top surrounding the Cubs Logo, and more diamonds throughout the rest of the design. The diamonds total 214. I laughed out loud, in happiness, when I saw the "goat". I need to get down to Wrigley Field, when there isn't a game, so I can check out the new "Park at Wrigley". At my age, I don't have the stamina to sit through a game anymore, or the money to buy a ticket. No one to go with either. I went to a lot of games in my younger days, but now I enjoy watching them all at home.

Blackhawk Playoffs start tonite. Good day for Chicago sorts fans.

There's a reason they don't get candy, allergies. All my little guy can have is plain dark chocolate(dairy free). My dh is on a diet so none for him this year. They don't mind only getting only one chocolate bar each because they'd rather get movies and such, last year it was Disney dollars(yep I still call gift cards dollars) The best part it's easy on me when shopping. :joyfull:

While we sold tons of gift cards, I remember doin' a few transactions at the Disney Store where Guests paid with Disney Dollars...! :)
Although they don't sell 'em anymore, you can still use previously purchased ones at WDW, DLR, and select Disney Stores across the US. :)

Above my shoulder on the back of the couch is Pooh and Bear. Bear is the Cubby Bear of the Chicago Cubs. Tonite we went to dinner during the Ring ceremony for the World Series. It was awesome-fans presented each player with their rings. 108 diamonds for the amount of years until the Cubs finally won a world series.

*waved* hi to you while in Wisconsin today
That's a nice piece of jewelry . I would be so proud of my team. We lived in Kansas city when they won the series. Years ago.

THNX. We got a bit of rain so I got my holiday errands run. I love going to the supermarket and breaking the register(I saved enough between my free turkey, card savings and coupons to need a manager's over ride) My favorite cashier was on and she knew to put her light on even before she finished ringing up my stuff:joyfull:
Do you need a bank loan, before grocery shopping?;);)

Ohh my cat does that but it is usually in the middle of the night. She carries her little cloth ball up in her mouth up the stairs from the basement making that strange mew the whole time. She usually ends up with it at the foot of the bed. lol And when we are gone, she brings the ball up and leaves it upstairs to let us know that she has been active. Yes, they do miss their owners. @StarWarsGirl I am curious what your cat does when you are gone?
I don't remember when I told this story, if you were on then. My little doggie (looked like Benji) took toilet paper of the roll and wound it around the house, we had a circular floor plan. I got such a laugh that I could say anything. He also tore up dd valentine's from school. He liked to surprise us!
