Actually it is normally Lidocaine. They haven't used Novocaine in many years. Too many people were allergic.

Lidocaine is what they gave me for a local anesthetic when I gouged two of my fingertips with a bow saw several years ago, and needed stitches. Watched the whole procedure and never felt anything but a bunch of tugging.
The scars are still there and both fingertips are still pretty much numb to this day.
Drat, that whole user error thing...!!! :cyclops: :D :hilarious: ;)

:joyfull: We play Chopped sometimes. The last basket I gave her was white bread, bacon bits, two eggs and mustard. She made American Toad in the Hole with a mustard butter sauce. :hungry: I need to have her make it again.

Now, that is sooo cool...!!! :)
We liked the episode that was on a few days ago where kiddos were judging some of the regular chefs/judges from the show...!!! :)

Mini rant alert:

So Mylan, the company that makes Epi Pens, inflated the prices to the point where they are barely even affordable.

Then, a recall was announced on certain Epi Pens because they could fail to inject properly in an emergency.

So basically, they charge you a ridiculous amount of money for a lifesaving product that will not work.:facepalm::facepalm::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Okay, rant over.
wow.... seriously?

And today she and I were in the truck (she worked afternoon evening today) and received a text that an emergency department conference call was coming up before her start time. I could hear that Charlie Brown Teacher blah blah blah echoing in the truck. I also know her expression. While she received a promotion and a raise the University wide laid off 200 some employees today.

One of her favorite colleagues from her department was a goner there a bit longer than DD. Clear why a few weeks ago they started cross training DD in a different department and had given her addition responsibilities over the last 6 months. She has the highest statistics in her department, has almost since she landed there. They unloaded an entire department today, hers could be next but possibly they are safeguarding their more productive employees. We hope. Oy. Our state needs to get it act together.

Woof.
Sympathy like, but, glad your DD seems safe for now.
Prayers.

Our schools check with my dh for field trips:joyfull: He has one of those voices the kids are afraid of, so they don't mess around when he raises his voice:joyfull::joyfull::joyfull:

DWifey and I chaperoned tons of field trips back in the day with our 3 kiddos. I don't remember ever having to raise my voice even one time with any of the kiddos we were in charge of. But, I had (and still do) one heck of an attention-getting dad mouth whistle...!!! :hilarious:  ;) :)

Well hopefully you will never need to use it, but I agree. I have no clue why they charge so much for it.
