Currently 82 here and as clear as can be with a light breeze. Predicted high of 87 for today.

Oooh I LOVE falafel!!!! I usually bake them to cut the fat, but they are tastier fried like almost anything. I shape them like patties for falafel burgers.

Well if Texas red has sirloin in it, then....nope sorry. It was vegetarian. It was still delicious on top of baked potatoes even sans carne.

Took me a while to find it for you, onDVCNews.com along with the Tikiman facebook and webpage. Tikiman is normally a pretty reliable source of info too. I know some people are over the top in love with the Poly and others like your family who don't care for it. Me I love the Poly, not thrilled with them chopping down the freak'n trees for the hammocks though or removing most of the beach chairs or the pizza hut buildings but the majority of the resort I have had a great attachment to from my childhood. Love it.

Texas Red is pretty much just cubbed beef chuck and a lot of awesome spices, so nope, that was definitely no Texas Red, but, sounds delicious, just the same...!

I know, aren't they yummy! I am making patties and serving them in pita pockets. I made a yogurt dressing to serve with lettuce and tomatoes to stuff inside.

Good grief! All this food talk (from 10-ish days ago - I'm still sooo far behind ) is makin' me dern hongreeeeeee...!!!!!

Well, today has just been fine and dandy for me. 15 minute extra wait for the bus, slipped and bruised my knee, Phone spent 45 minutes updating, buried in work, got an extra presenation I need to complete by this Friday. My reaction: View attachment 195188

Yes, they are all indigenous wildflowers.
Drives through the hill country during this time of year can be quite amazing. I really love wildflowers...maybe it's that "wild" part...!
Is there such a thing as a "wildflorist"...?!

maybe if people parented instead of relying on devices for entertainment . Never had any gadgets on long drives/boat journeys when i were a child. we just read books or talked as a family .

Yep, the only "devices" we had were the AM radio and the CB in the cab of the truck, and our comic books in the camper.
