No, we use air conditioning or heat. I'm not sure if the windows still open.

Hi....I just wanted to say I'll be gone for a bit. I got a call about an hour ago that my dad passed away. It was peaceful, they aren't sure what caused it. He had just been to the doctor about a stomach bug yesterday and the doctor gave him a clean bill of health and said he could live for years. God, I just said yesterday I hoped he had years, but couldn't complain if he was taken because he had 84 years...I take that back. I didn't think it would be less than 24 hours. Anyway...my brain isn't functioning...sorry. It's 3 a.m. and I can't DO anything because it's the middle of the night and nothing will be open until morning, but anyway, I will be headed for the States as soon as I can manage it, so that's why I won't be here. I would appreciate prayers and positive thoughts and pixie dust and whatever you can throw my way. Thanks!

I'm so sorry to hear this. I will be thinking of you and your family. No time, is the right time to lose a parent. Condolences.

Thanks for the memories. I lived this with my dd growing up. Speaking of dd we have to meet at her new apartment to co-sign papers. She just called. Out for me for awhile. Great day to everyone!

I had to do something horrible today. Completely terrible. It went against every fiber of my being, but I did it anyway.

I used Internet Explorer.

After Chrome and Firefox wouldn't work. Not that IE worked either, but I tried it anyway. It was a terrible experience that I am never, ever repeating. Hopefully I am not too traumatized.

Good day to everyone. We had a very nice spring break with the boy's. We did things around here, and it was fun.. Now for the bad news...I'm full of it this year, aren't I? Over the week-end my sister called and my brother-in-law, was trimming a tree...he fell off the ladder and broke 6 vertebrae in his back. He is going to be laid up for three month's. Time for a trip with my sister and brother-in-law. If he is well enough, we are going on the Oasis to Puerto Rico this time. It's a new place for us. We are excited to be back on the boat, again. I hope everyone is doing really well, I'm plodding along...helping the daughter get her house on the market. It's nice today....60 with sun, tomorrow...rain and snow. Typical, typical. I just got back from the grocery, and it's time to fix lunch. Talk with you all later....and trying to do some ketchup!

just remember to plan your hours.. the Oasis stays very few hours at Puerto Rico (around 5 hours).
And if you're unlucky (other ship docking almost at same time will slow down the debarkation because of the "drag" big ships caused. in my case.. it was the Carnival Magic.

Tell me about it. We have been staying at my mom's because a pipe broke in our septic pump line so we can't run water, then her heat went out one night, and then my daughter had to have four teeth pulled.

A lot of crazy stuff. Mostly medical issues, and dd and husband split after 28 years. It's been dividing our time with the kids and helping dd get the house on the market. We celebrated the boy's birthday's, and are celebrating the son-in- law's birthday this Sunday. Will be interesting...

Hi @betty rose ! Sorry to hear about DD and the hubby. A very difficult time, but she is so lucky to have you and your support. Hope for the kids sake that Sunday isn't too awkward.

Sorry to hear about the medical issues, but hopefully everyone (including your Brother in law-OUCH!) are doing/getting better. Puerto Rico sounds like a nice trip. DH was just reminiscing about one of his trips there with his family many years ago.
