I'm so happy for your parents and especially your pops after his health scare. I hope they both are doing well.

Thanks so much, Figgy! :)
And yes, they are both doing very well, fortunately! Pop has lost a bunch of weight due to eating healthier overall.
Both are really involved at church, as always. Mom also works with Alzheimer's patients, and does other volunteer work.
Pop still volunteers to do taxes for the elderly (which still cracks us up, 'cause the vast majority of the people he works with are much younger than his 84 years :hilarious:), and works a little at their neighbors liquor store, still.
DS has Monday's off, so he helped my pop with trimming a neighbors tree this Monday morning. Before DS got his job at the Salvation Army, he helped my pop many times over recent years with yards and such.
Pop tripped over a branch they had just took down, and kinda' gashed his arm up pretty bad. I didn't find out about it 'til after I got home from the office. When I asked how bad it was and where he went for treatment, I was told he patched himself up and was out on his regular Monday bowling night...!!! :hilarious:
I can only hope I'm that Energizer Bunny-ish at their age...!!! :)

You are more lucky than you know. Both of mine passed away quite a few years ago. When parents pass away, you feel like you've been robbed. Crazy, but true. Emotions are rarely logical.

I'm really happy for you that your parents are still around, and that you all have such a fun time together.

I know you've mentioned it before, but, again, my sincerest condolences for both of your folks untimely passing.
And yes, without a doubt, we are so very blessed to still have them with us, and in good health. I never take it for granted.
I don't think I'll feel robbed (as when parents pass at a relatively young age, and I don't think that's crazy at all...I would have definitely felt the same way) when they finally pass, but, I have never known a day in my 54+ years when they haven't been alive and available to us. I know it will be devastating.
But, then again (sorry, it's just my nature to lighten things up a bit), I could get hit by a truck tomorrow... ;)

I forgot the other news.

The bad news is I am not going back to Disneyland it seems this summer. :( Kind of bummed that my DL AP and I are having no more adventures.

But it's looking like I'll be able to go to WDW. It is also looking like I may be going to South Carolina for a long weekend when my parents are in Hawaii. My grandma wants to go see her great granddaughters and go to the beach, and she wants to fly down. She hasn't flown anywhere since before 9-11, she's got a balance problem, and everyone, including her, is a bit nervous about the situation. But it would make everyone, including her, feel better if someone went with her. So I might be going to Charleston for a weekend. We'll see.
