I named my brother. He's named after Brady Anderson, my favorite Oriole at the time. :)

We have so many family names and the only one that's not horrible (both my brother's and my middle name) is Lee. Among them are Thelma, Mildred, Laurence, and Frederick. I would have been Frederick after my dad if I had been a boy. The sad part is that he uses his middle name, Lee :)rolleyes:) because he doesn't like it. And his father, Fred, said not to do it because he regretted it. Strange coincidence, but my mom's middle name is...Lee.:hilarious: The newest family name is William, which isn't so bad. My cousin and nephew are both William. But they gave him his fiance's father's name as a middle name and he goes by that.

Both my pop and youngest brother are named Lawrence, but, bro is not a junior 'cause he has a different middle name. They both go by Larry. :)

And when your Mom called Larry did they both ignore her? @StarWarsGirl95 yesterday talked of family names. The boy golden retriever that I adopted when he couldn't stay with his family at 5 months name was Fritz. I had to slowly rename him, he became Jethro because my Dads name is Fred/Frederick. He wasn't amused with the dog named Fritz.

The Lee was funny cause I was to be LeeAnne. My Dads Mom had a fit. She immigrated after WW1 and after WW2 everyone here Americanized their names that were recent immigrants. My Gran said it was a Jewish name and we were Catholic. Mom went full on Catholic then.

How's this for a morning routine tomorrow?

Son #2 needs to get up at 4:00, and be driven to work for 5:00.
Adopted son needs to get up at 5:40, to be picked up at 6:15.

Hubby offered to do both. I insist we split it.

On the plus side, Son #1 wrote his last exam today, and is off until Monday, so nobody has to wrestle him out of bed.

It's not really an almost identical face.

All Disney princesses for the most part have big eyes and pretty faces. Even before Frozen. Look at Tangled. Rapunzel had a similar face (of course, she and Anna and Elsa are supposed to be cousins, so that's a different thing entirely). So they aren't copying, they are following the mold for princesses that they've already set.

They tried to change that with Merida and Brave and it didn't really work. So they stick with what works. Can't fault them for that.
Merida is the only Pixar princess. I don't understand what "didn't work". She's as much a princess as the others.

Yes, we have multiple Larry's in our family. My grandfather and uncle are both Larry. But my uncle is not a junior. He's the second.o_O

It's quite confusing. My second cousins will refer to Uncle Larry and I have to clarify if they are talking about my grandfather or my mom's brother.

Other than the one night when I was down at the hot tub and someone started smoking a homemade cigar near me (that made me react very badly), great. I had to carry my nebulizer with me in AK just in case (would have gone to first aid and asked for a plug if I had needed it) but never needed to use it. Steroids and a few nebs cleared that up, even though I initially reacted severely. The rest of the trip the asthma was great, though.

I really miss Florida. I swear that part of my problem is MD.

The older I get and the more messed up my state is becoming the more urgent I need to get the heck out of here.
I hear Florida calling me.

Got up at 4:30 a.m. and looked out--the snow was blowing horizontally left and then immediately to the right! HA! Opened back door; snow had drifted up a foot so far and blew in on me when I opened the door. My dog, who had followed me to the door, bolted in the opposite direction when the powder snow flew in at me! He's such a pansy. Meanwhile, hubby is sound asleep. I was excited to wake up and go see what was happening. What's the matter with man and beast in this house? Am I the only hearty soul? I can't wait to go out and shovel some of this later on; like I said, it's powder snow and very light.

Municipal plows have been going up and down the road constantly since last night. Note: the private plow drivers out there will make a fortune in $ on this storm. (Also, quite a few landscaping companies switch over their businesses to snow plowing in the winter.) When I finally do start shovelling later on, I'll be out there waving to them. (They wave and smile back to me. You'd think I was a 5-year-old; love this . . .  )
I'm glad to hear you survived. :)

My Baba was supposed to have been named the Polish equivalent of "Wendy", until the priest said nuh-uh.
Her first name ended up being "Rosalie", but she always went by her middle name "Stella" - in Polish, "Stanislawa".
Her maiden name was Deren, which is Son #1's middle name.

Hubby wanted to name Son #2 "Michael Jordan", which I ixnayed; so instead he is "Jordan Michael".
