Merida is the only Pixar princess. I don't understand what "didn't work". She's as much a princess as the others.
She's not nearly as popular as the others, though. I don't recall seeing one girl dressed up as Merida on my last trip to WDW. Meanwhile, lots of Anna and Elsa's, plus the classics.

I didn't like Brave, actually. I've watched it maybe three times. Didn't like Merida at all. Up and Brave are the only two Pixar films I have not liked.

Ugh. Governor just held a press conference. They are going to have limited public transportation tomorrow which means that I'll probably have to go in tomorrow (at least, they'll expect me and all others to be late). It will mean that all trains will be packed and behind schedule, and the buses (for the routes they can get up) will be a carp shoot with the road conditions. Not all roads have been completely plowed yet, even in the larger cities here, and with the wide snowbanks on the ones that have been plowed, it makes it very difficult for traffic to pass through. Tomorrow will be a commuting nightmare. :(

Oh my.
Did you actually just end a post involving snow with a sad-faced smilie...?!?!?! o_O  :jawdrop:

:D ;) :)

Meh, politics is pretty jacked up everywhere, but, I just don't see how y'all can put up with the months and months of tundra year after year. ;)

The older I am getting the less tolerant I am. I am not good with extreme heat or humidity but at least I could go out early or late. Here I don't want to go out in the winter ever. I crave sunlight which we have had very little of the last 2 winters.

My Baba was supposed to have been named the Polish equivalent of "Wendy", until the priest said nuh-uh.
Her first name ended up being "Rosalie", but she always went by her middle name "Stella" - in Polish, "Stanislawa".
Her maiden name was Deren, which is Son #1's middle name.

Hubby wanted to name Son #2 "Michael Jordan", which I ixnayed; so instead he is "Jordan Michael".

When my Mom was annoyed with my Sis and me she would call us Stella and Sophie. Oy. Why would someone want to do that to a kid Michael Jordan, really? I've seen lots of tributes with middle names being Sir names of family members, I kinda like that. My consolation prize for DH was to give his first name as a middle name to my DS. Good enough.
