I would imagine it would vary from store to store, depending upon how strict they are with the sanitation code. What I can tell you is that (at least to the very best of my knowledge), I don't believe I've ever gotten ill from deli sliced cheese. ;) (Just like @StarWarsGirl , I loves me some deli sliced cheese--and non-deli cheeses too. Cheese is one of my favorite foods!) :hungry:
Yup, I can see the deli area at my grocery store and have never had any cause for concern, nor have I ever gotten sick from deli cheese. :)

I've calmed down a bit, just a bit. I looked outside and saw a very small patch of lighter grey sky.:cautious: I knew I should have followed my instinct and gotten down and hid in @Goofyernmost's trunk for a ride to Florida. I'm making cinnamon rolls for my dh to take to work tomorrow. At least the house will smell really nice in a bit:hilarious:

Is he coming home afterall?

@MinnieM123 should just make some dog safe hummus for Jack and herself.

Well, it's been days now since he ate the hommus, and he seems just as active (and a pain in the behind) as usual; so I don't think the hommus poisoned him. But from now on, that's something we'll put out of reach, if we need to step out of the kitchen, even for just a minute.

And he'll find something else to abscond instead. I like it when he eats the bills that come in the mail ! HA! Yes, he even eats paper sometimes . . . :cautious: It's not that he's hungry--I think it's just the "hunt" that he likes . . . when he does bad things, he's proud of himself.

@MinnieM123 and @FutureCEO please have a safe commute today.

Thank you--interesting morning--everything was delayed. We got another 10 inches in my area overnight. Most of the schools in MA have been closed since last Thursday, so that's a good thing in that a bunch of parents stay home with them, and keep off the road.

Left home this morning around 5:50 AM. Even though I had a 45-minute wait for a bus this morning (and the sidewalks downtown hadn't been plowed yet--so there were 4 of us standing in 2-3-foot snow drifts- ha! :p ), with the lack of traffic out there, the bus made pretty good time to a subway station. (I went a different way this morning,) Subway train came fairly quickly, too, and by the time I walked up to the hospital, I pulled off the commute in a little over 2 hours--not bad for all the snow we've had over the past 5 days.

I'm really curious to see what the herd of Texans are doing for about a mile around my DD apartment. An Electrical Company-Texas and USIC-Texas. Mind you we have USIC-Illinois. It is fun listening to the guys talk though and they really do enjoy their spray paint. Nobody seems to know what this is all a precursor too though. Last time I saw something like this they resurfaced the state road however they did that last fall. Generally the State moto is, we don't have to tell you anything you little town you, we are STATE.

Did you ever find out why they brought in USIC people from Texas...?

Let them know that the rest of us have this insatiable need for good food pictures! :hungry: Please let them know that you are providing a public service. I'm sure they'll understand. :D

Hahaaa...!!! :hilarious:
They usually don't mind, but, every now and then, I'll get a roll-eye or a stink-eye, or, sometimes, even a roll/stink combo...!!! :D ;)
Pretty sure if I try to couch it as a PSA, I'll get multiple roll/stinks...!!!!! :joyfull: :hilarious:
