That is bad! I hope everybody up your way made it through the storm safelyIt's cold enough out there now, that it will keep. Just send the trucks tomorrow. Thank you.
P.S.: The roads were so bad yesterday, that in a rare move (in my recollection anyway) UPS, Fedex and mail trucks were ordered off the roads by midday.

You could insert a picture of my dog in that!! The other night, he absconded with a small tub of hommus from off the table!! He's so fast. Hubs and I stepped out of the room for just seconds, and came back and saw hommus "evidence" on his goofy face and knew immediately what he did!!
What dog eats hommus?!!

The blowers only kept the snow away. The winds were horrendous! We had 50 mph wind gusts. Brrr too!! At least you kept the snow away. Thanks for your help!!

Time for another I hate winter rant. A book I ordered and really wanted to have by yesterday is still not here because of the storm
I never did make it out to run my errands due to road conditions, I had extra laundry because the guys must have went through 4 outfits each yesterday, even today's delay meant the boys eating more food. The kicker is my dh and I were supposed to go out tonight but that's not happening either Somebody besides @MinnieM123 please tell me one reason to like this time of year.

We've had to wear them many times at WDW before, and I don't remember any issues with them not working as intended, even in driving downpours. You get rain on your face, and your shoes and lower legs may get wet, but everything else stays pretty much dry.
On our summer of '12 and '13 trips, we got several of the $0.99 cheapie ponchos from Walmart. I believe we each had 3 a piece 'cause, in the Florida humidididididity and sweating a bit under them, they can become a bit "ripe".
But, they also fold up real quick and easily to be stuffed into a cargo shorts pocket when entering an attraction, or if needed again that day. When others are scrambling for cover, hunkering down, or standing in line to buy a poncho, we're just goin' on with our usual Park business (unless there is an obvious lightening danger), for the most part.
