Ivory Tower Squabble EST 2011. WINDMILL SURVIVOR
My only gripe is that the newest ponchos are crap quality wise. They rip apart so easily.
There was a huge difference in my fist trip vs the last trip ponchos (2013 vs 2016).
You could rehuse the 2013 versions a few times.. 2016 feels disposable single use only.

Yeah. I can fault Disney for a lot. Poncho's change in quality has a lot to do with the need to move away from Latex to Silicone type material. With Latex allergies being deadly everyone from fire departments, pools, schools and hospitals have moved away from the more durable Latex, it is just that deadly to some.

It is one of my favorites! :geek: Disney at her best, my first 'family' Disney vacation with my kid and my kids first encounter with the paramedics being called for him. Who could ask for more? :D

Here, I'll post it for you again. :p

Why couldn't they just stay that age. Sigh

Oh my. Wish we would have thought of that back on our June of '13 trip. FIL passed well over a decade ago, but, MIL was with us on that trip and still receives full military benefits, but, has only been the one time, so knows nothing of SOG.
She wants to go back in the next couple of years, so thanks for the info...!!! :)
You're welcome. You can go to the SOG web page for all the papers and info you'll need.

At least you're happy about it. Seem to be a party of One.

As Curley in the Three Stooges used to say, "Hey, I resemble that comment!" I saw on the news, a man interviewed during the snowstorm yesterday, and he said that he liked the snow. So, before you rush to judgement, there's proof that there's at least 2 people in my state that love the snow!

"Keep shoveling, keep shoveling, keep shoveling...! " ;)

Ha! Even though that's a stock shot of someone else, I could relate to it--a smile on her face when shoveling snow! Bliss!! :joyfull:

We ended up with a foot of snow where I live (it varied from 8-18 across the state).

And, the city of Boston had 800 plows out yesterday. It was hard for them to keep up with anything in the blizzard; because for a few hours here and there throughout the day, snow was coming down at the rate of 2-3 inches an hour! (The colder temperatures were keeping it the lighter, fluffier snow, and the wind was creating some deep drifts in areas.)

And, aside of the public works guys out there in full, all the private contractors (any guy with a shovel on the front of his pickup) were pulling in the big bucks yesterday, too. (For example, depending upon the size of a driveway to plow, they're getting anywhere from $35 to $100. So you can imagine what they get for parking lots, etc., although most businesses have contracts for the season which lower the price--but still, they're paying a lot of money.)

Any Dunkin Donuts shop I passed by had multiple plows "live" parked there, with the guys running in for more coffee to chug down, during the snow marathon yesterday! ;) :p

Thats me and my family after finishing the meal and the cake XD

So it was good!

Cesar, was yesterday your birthday? I'm confused, because you mentioned you had quite a few family members with birthdays this month--and I hope I didn't miss yours. Somehow, I thought you were having cake for another family member's birthday.

If it was your birthday, I'd like to extend a happy belated birthday to you, and you can feel free to celebrate with me today on my birthday. I'm happy to share with you!

By the way, I'm taking today off from work, although getting older, I'm not sure what there is to celebrate? :p

My dh was supposed to have a 4 day weekend. Was being the operative word. Between the snow and another change to his screwy schedule he's only getting Sunday off. He cancelled his vacation day for Monday before we thought we were going to get any snow:confused: In other news the main roads here are meh but passable, back roads are not good at all and some in other towns flat out stink. I'm putting my errands off until sometime tomorrow when it's safe. Mount Laundry here I come
