You do remember who I am LOL. Thunderstorms, bring them on the crowds thin a bitOh, it's so much more pleasant out there than Florida. No risk of getting stuck in a downpour, you don't feel the need to go on something indoors just to get out of the heat, and you can walk around the parks without being afraid of having a heat stroke. If I can only go to one or the other this summer, I'm thinking DL if possible so that I DON'T have to deal with Florida weather in the summer.
It's in the 60s here right now, and we're supposed to get 3-5 inches of snow tonight. Oh Maryland. Your weather is weirdI'm almost certain there won't be school tomorrow because my dh has to work late tonight. His work is pretty sure they will be at least delayed if not closed tomorrow.
Yeah, you've clearly never been stuck near the entrance of PofC with the attraction not even running, unable to go anywhere without getting completely soaked for an hour. Or stuck near the entrance of DHS so you miss two of your FPs and end up basically making your ADR, and that is the extent of your park day.You do remember who I am LOL. Thunderstorms, bring them on the crowds thin a bitWhat's this heat stroke you speak of?
Turn your blowers a bit more towards @MinnieM123 please! We are supposed to get snow showers tomorrow after hitting 70 today!! NOOooo!!!I'm hoping if I'm over prepared the snow will pass us by. I have 5 stacks of movies ready to go in order Star Wars, Star Trek, Pixar, Disney and Harry Potter, a large container of popcorn ready to be popped, flashlights with new batteries, camp stove(full), kerosene heater full and tested, a freezer with enough cooked food to last a week and all our charge packs, hand held video games and such are all charged up an mount laundry is conquered. The large blowers are also set up and pointed towards @MinnieM123.Mother nature should just give up on me and head for her

Yes, thank you! We're getting 8-14 inches tomorrow!! Woo hoo!!!!!!!!!!!
FTFYIt's up to the individual managers for their area. Most will charge a vacation day. They always want people to come in. And even if there is a state of emergency and the governor shuts down roads (and all people in cars are ordered off the roads), our hospital id badges will allow us passage to work. Cops and national guard have to let us through when we display those. But, I have no desire to deal with any of that when it gets that bad. I'd rather just take a vacation day at that point andcut my losses.stay home and shovel snow.
Getting my dh to So. Cal. won't be easy. He hates it.
DCL will do the same
Second, would be the "old" Polynesian, before the redo of a few years ago. Third would be the GF--just a gorgeous property, and I miss all the "space" they had prior to the DVC building. I used to love that stroll along there past the tennis courts (which I think they dumped for the DVC), the spa and the wedding pavilion. And now of course, we have the "fence" along the entire waterway. Still, the GF is a beautiful hotel.
Not to mention, it was reliable back then, too!![]()

Well fine! We can do a Golden Girls trip to Disneyland. Your Man and the Boys can have a guy's week. Smoke some meat, not make their beds etc.
