Hey guys. Things are going to be very rough at my house for a while We just lost a friend who was very close to all of us and like my big brother or second father since just after I got out of school. He was one of the sweetest people to ever walk this planet and I have no clue how to tell my boys. My older ds will be devastated because when he was little we lived near to each other and he spent a great deal of time at our place. Even though life left us many miles apart we made sure to talk every week.

So sorry, I'm behind again, and just saw this.

Hope your oldest DS is as OK as possible.

Yah, I've been called for a date in April--yuck. In my state, they can't call you until after 3 years. I was called last year, but none of us had to report--so they throw your name back in the box and (sometimes) will call you within the next year or so. "Lucky" me . . . Years ago I was on a jury; I have no desire to repeat that again.

Hey, @BuddyThomas , did you get called for a jury, when you went there the other day?

Yep, the one I was on was a pretty cut and dried DWI case.
DWifey, on the other hand, was on one for 2 weeks while we were dating that turned out to be just plain sick, and she ended up being chosen Jury Foreman.
She couldn't tell me anything about it (of course, and she didn't - but, there was no doubt she was really stressed) other than what we saw on the news until after it ended.
They ended up convicting the guy on all counts and, as far as we know, he's still incarcerated.
Just sick stuff.
Obviously, she never wants to serve again.

We're a little late down here on that rodent shadow stuff in The Lone Star State, but, apparently, we've had "Armadillo Day" since 2010...
Seems he didn't see his shadow, so we'll have 6 more weeks of spring, or something like that...?!
Which, along with scorching heat, we already have most of the year...

This is an outrage! I'm calling my lawyer!! Oh wait . . . I don't have a lawyer. Hey, @StarWarsGirl 's father is one--he can get on this case for me first thing in the morning.

That image is so uggo--kinda like Minnie and Duffy got into a fistfight-- and Duffy rearranges Minnie's face.

Aside of the hideous image, I also can't comprehend why they didn't steam out the wrinkles in the clothing, before they put up the photo on their web site??!! Is no one paying attention to detail anymore?!
