Yah, I've been called for a date in April--yuck. In my state, they can't call you until after 3 years. I was called last year, but none of us had to report--so they throw your name back in the box and (sometimes) will call you within the next year or so. "Lucky" me . . . :( Years ago I was on a jury; I have no desire to repeat that again.

Hey, @BuddyThomas , did you get called for a jury, when you went there the other day?

You and @ajrwdwgirl are right, in that it would have saved the "newbies" in each instance, some time and money. However, not everyone is like us, and I'm not even referring to us long-time Disney fans either.

I think that some people just view a vacation as a laid-back experience, and sort of go with the flow. I'm sure they, at least, shopped for decent airfares, etc., but beyond that, thought they'd figure it out when they got there. I'm not saying they're right or wrong--just a different mindset, that's all.
