I heard on this morning's weather report that we might get a few snow flurries this weekend! YEA!! A dusting of snow on the branches would be pretty.

A few nonsticking flurries is okay. I always said I would love snow if it wasn't so darned cold!

Yup, that's the picture of the very imposing, "Collinwood" in the old t.v series, Dark Shadows. I've veered off the Newport mansion tourist route a number of times, and walked over to Ruggles Ave., just to go by that huge, magnificent structure, with its enormous rolling lawn.

Again, I can't believe Salve Regina got ahold of that building since then, and turned it into a dormitory. Ugh.

I thought it looked familiar.

Sure but that "igit" has a job and the applicant doesn't. So either the person wasn't as much an "igit" as was thought or, and this is possible, they are laughing all the way to the bank.

My comment was only about half serious. I knew I shoulda' used one a' my famous smilies.
Mainly, 'cause I wasn't there to judge whether or not the interviewer would have seemed to be an idiot to me.
Also, as we all well know, there are PLENTY of igits with jobs. He doesn't sound quite that desperate, just yet, to work with someone who he deems an igit. Although, that time may very well come.
As far as the interviewer laughing all the way to the bank, that is, of course, quite possible. If he was unfairly judged an igit, I hope he is. If he's just an outright jerk igit, I hope he isn't.

I was supposed to take my bros to Costco this afternoon.

As soon as I found out the Prime Minister is attending Nathan Cirillo's funeral today, I re-scheduled.
Our Costco is located just off the highway, halfway between the airport and the funeral home.

Sympathy "like" for all of Canada.
Just such a sickening, sad loss.

My body and arthritis doesn't do well with cold weather.

Yup, it's an ear infection.
New prescription ear drops - Ciprodex.

Should be good to go for Saturday. The doctor also suggested taking Advil Cold & Sinus the day before and day of, flying.

I think too much happiness is affecting you (aka your sons moving out).

I think you will need to delay the naked dancing part a bit more.

Don't need them down here. Usually there's not enough snow to justify it.

It can stay what it currently is. 76 degrees and sunny is rather nice.

Had a low of 67 here overnight. High of 86 today.
Trending lower through the rest of the week, with a low of 50 and a high of 73 on Sat., then warming up a bit again.
