Good morning for now LOL My dh had off yesterday, so when I got home from my first bit of shopping he decided he wanted to go with me for the second run out. my response was ok get dressed and we'll go. He said we'll go tomorrow because he has a coupon that starts today:mad: It doesn't make sense gas wise to go to the same area twice so now the whole TROOP is going:arghh:

Hope y'all had a "blast"...!!!!! :joyfull: :hilarious: :D ;)

Wow, you have the troops under control !! :D

If hubs and I go shopping, he's a big impulse buy shopper, and it throws off my routine. :cautious: That's why I rarely shop with him--he's like a 2-year-old, and wants to pick up everything, stop, gawk, and discuss it all . . . (Me, I just want to get in, get the stuff, and get the heck out!) :p

I'm same...
"In and out, nobody get's hurt!!!" :hilarious:
Sorry. Old SNL skit reference.

That's the problem all would be good if not great. The inserts would be from the waistline to just about mid knee which seems to be a good hem line for me any longer and I seem to look shorter. I want one of each but if I do that my dh would:cautious::cautious::cautious::cautious::cautious::cautious: He thinks I may have a little Disney problem:mad: I think he has big computer problem:banghead:

See, now y'all are talkin' Greek to me 2 ways...fashion, and high-tech...!!! :hilarious: ;)

Shopping by myself always worked out better More the Merrier never applied.

It doesn't surprise me in the least. Having been to WDW and DL right in a row, you realize very quickly that for some odd reason, they are cheap at WDW. If SGE were at DL, it would have been replaced a long time ago. Same with Universe of Energy and Mission: Space. Really, the only two major offenses at DL are those awkward PeopleMover tracks and the fact that they couldn't be bothered to make TofT somewhat appealing during its refurb. Other than that, everything is kept in tip top shape and enhanced. For instance, some of the older Fantasyland attractions have received enhancements that just help update them slightly and keep them fresh.

They also don't let unpopular attractions hang around. Case in point: there used to be an attraction in Carsland called Luigi's flying tires. There was nothing wrong with it; it just wasn't that great a ride and wasn't popular. They replaced it with Luigi's Rockin' Roadsters, which is a ton of fun. Tires hadn't been open too long, but rather than just let it continue, they developed something new. WDW, well, it would have sat there. DL also does a better job of keeping their rides up to standards. It's pretty rare to have a broken effect in a DL attraction, and I can't imagine DL letting any of their attractions go without refurbs as long as some of the WDW attractions go. And yes, if EE were in DL, the Yeti would have been fixed by now.

Not so much a company problem as a WDW problem quite honestly.
Seeing my dh doesn't want to go back to WDW but does want to go back to UNI maybe I should price out a trip to California

I don't know if I can help much. But it sounds like an interesting dress. Can you post a picture when it is done? I am very jealous of your sewing skills, someday I will learn how to do more.
Thank you but seeing I've been my present size for a couple of years I finally got(or made) some spring/summer things last year but mostly everything was either casual or workout wear. This year I have the need for more formal wear because it seems we will have a concert, wedding, graduation or other function almost every week from Easter until mid/late June:eek::joyfull::banghead: So just one or 2 dresses will not do:joyfull::oops::bawling::inlove: serious mixed emotions going on here. Not to mention I have serious trouble finding grown up clothing at a somewhat reasonable price:mad::mad::mad::greedy::greedy::greedy::greedy: I need a petite length on top but not always on the bottom:hilarious: I stole the basic idea yesterday and already have the black in my fabric stash so it's a matter of figuring out the math for the inserts(should take a few minutes at most but I felt lazy last night) and hunting down the polka dot. That may take a bit but when I get it done it will be one thing I'll post a pic of. James had better keep his room clean:D

Was it weather or just a nice gesture? Happy for you, it seems to being a good move for you. What did you do with your 3 hours?

Weather was calm--sun was out, no ice, no nothing. After the bus trek home, I put on the dishwasher (we only run it once a week, because it's just hubs and me--we don't use a lot of dishes). However, since it wasn't Saturday, hubs had to ask me why I put on the dishwasher on a Friday afternoon o_O (routine, you know . . . ;) ).

So, I told him that since I had a few hours of freedom, I'd start one of the weekend chores now and get it out of the way. He told me I wasn't supposed to do that on my time off--I should go do something fun. But since I'm boring and practical, I was ecstatic about knocking out one of my weekend chores on a Friday afternoon! :joyfull:

Shocking, but believe it or not, I used to sew some of my clothing (years ago). I saved a ton of money for the most part (I did have a few, unsalvageable disasters along the way ;)). My sewing machine is in a box and I haven't used it for well over 15 years at this point. For reasons unknown, I just lack the ambition now to do sewing projects. Glad that you're still into it though.

I'm very happy on the days the dishwasher only has to run once:confused:
