@StarWarsGirl , I hope you'll feel better today.

Curious--what did you think about your visit to DisneyQuest? I haven't been there in about 5 years, and when I went, some of the games were broken. I also thought that the place was somewhat disjointed and confusing.

Prior to that visit, it had probably been 10 years approx. since I went -- on that first visit, I had fun. It just seemed like the excitement vibe wasn't happening in there on my last visit. Just wondering about your impressions of the place now.

That's a rough estimate. It can be less depending on how many tolls you feel like paying. And traffic. One nice thing about this area is you're pretty central to everything. 3-4 hours to New York, 7-8 to Boston, 1-2 to DC (though I recommend taking a train rather than driving), 2 hours to Hershey, 2 hours to Philly. WDW is less than 2 hours by plane. The Carolina beaches are about a day's ride away.

I've been wanting to for some time. My school did a trip up a few semesters ago, but by the time I found out, it was too late. :grumpy: My friend's aunt used to live up there, so she went a bunch of times to visit her aunt. But somehow she never saw a Boradway show. o_O She wanted to do the opera, but I shot that down rather quickly. :hilarious: In spite of being in music most of my life, I've always had quite a dislike for opera music. I agreed to the ballet instead. :joyfull:
If you got up at a decent hour and promptly hit the road you could get to the Carolina beaches in time to have a full day there:D Heck I've hit the road early enough to have beach time in Florida:D:D:D

Good morning for now LOL My dh had off yesterday, so when I got home from my first bit of shopping he decided he wanted to go with me for the second run out. my response was ok get dressed and we'll go. He said we'll go tomorrow because he has a coupon that starts today:mad: It doesn't make sense gas wise to go to the same area twice so now the whole troop is going:arghh:

Ha! And of course you realize that if the entire troop goes, that means more impulse buying for all--in other words--his coupon won't end up "saving" you much (or anything) at all, in the end! :hilarious:

Not really I have a list and the boys will do all the lifting so I won't stress my shoulder. Me and my lists:hilarious:

Wow, you have the troops under control !! :D

If hubs and I go shopping, he's a big impulse buy shopper, and it throws off my routine. :cautious: That's why I rarely shop with him--he's like a 2-year-old, and wants to pick up everything, stop, gawk, and discuss it all . . . :rolleyes: (Me, I just want to get in, get the stuff, and get the heck out!) :p

Could you picture what my already obscene food bill would be like if I let them impulse shop?:eek::eek::eek::greedy::greedy::greedy::greedy::greedy::greedy::greedy: I do however let the boys pick out something extra in the produce isle:angelic::angelic::angelic::angelic::angelic: Can't be a total meanie:D

Oh, speaking of @Cesar R M , I saw a short news clip yesterday of your Mexican president. Of course, I know nothing about him, but I will say that he is quite the handsome fellow! :)
I hesitate to bring this up for multiple reasons including my respect for standing up to the President, but, when I saw the picture that was circulating I almost passed right by it. Why? Because I thought it was Mr. Trumps son at first glance. That said, hurrah for him.

I'm more of the impulse shopper. Hubby will stick to the list and I will go with the list and then throw in things that might look good especially when grocery shopping. When we are together and I see something that looks interesting, I will ask him if he wants to get it. He will usually say no or maybe another time, but 9 times out of 10 I put it in the cart anyway and he asks why I bothered to ask him anyway. I say that he will enjoy it later, and he does.

sigh..
Did you know that he won because a ton of women voted for him because "he was handsome"?
He is the worst president in modern history of Mexico. he pretty much destroyed PEMEX, CFE (oil and energy respectively) and stole millions (and protected other governors that stole BILLIONS in state money for personal reasons).

He also installed the first official office of media manipulation. (he has an army of internet "botters" and entire offices full of staff trained to manipulate twitter, facebook and other trending places. So he tries to counter the angry people by insulting or deviating to the opposition).
