700 right now works for me. I'm by no means a 125 lb. pixie, I'm a freaking Xena Amazon but I always have been. :D My insurance doesn't cover squat for diet/nutrition unless it's for diabetes. I don't have the extra $100+ for each doctor visit so it's the choice between seeking professional help or keeping my gas on. It's cold outside, I choose having heat.View attachment 80399

Good for you. You have incredible will power to stay with that restrictive plan. I don't know how you do it at just 700 calories a day, but you're an inspiration, I must say.

It's bewildering just how many diets and diet rules are out there now. I had always learned that to lose weight safely, not to drop below 1,200 calories. (That's how I've done it in the past.) @MOXOMUMD is at 800, and @JenniferS is at 700!! Oh my--I'd be starving. Regardless, I'm thrilled that you both have found methods that work for you (and I'm glad that Jennifer sees a medical person who supervises her diet carefully).
Oh, @JenniferS wishes she were at 700.

A typical day (from which I seldom deviate):

1/2 protein bar - 80
100 g. (3 1/2 oz.) grilled chicken - 170
1 tbsp. reduced cal. Greek salad dressing - 25
100 g. 0% fat Greek yogurt - 50
1/2 yellow pepper - 25
2 cups baby romaine leaf lettuce - 10
1 tbsp. 5% coffee cream
= 370 calories

If I wanted to set myself up for non-stop cravings all day, I could eat 2 tiny pieces of a very limited selection of low-glycemic index fruit & 2 servings of bread (which would be the equivalent of 2 x 1/2 slices of diet bread - 50 calories)

Now you know why the diet is so closely medically supervised, and why the vitamin and potassium supplements are so necessary. FYI - the 3x weekly B6/B12 injections are in the belly.
Good thing I am unphased by any kind of shots!

ETA - I ate like this, day in and day out for 4 months after my dad died. Like I said, I lost 55 lbs. without any hunger pains. I hate being hungry!

I'm pretty sure the man upstairs has an awesome sense of humor too. For months after my daughter was born my ex would say he really wanted a boy but got a girl. Well when he knocked his little mistress up he got....another girl. :joyfull: Yep, I hope God does high fives because I got one for him.
Oh, I am convinced that he has a sense of humor! :p

So my DirecTV DVR died today and I lost all my recorded shows. Stupid technology. :(
We had that happen with our FIOS DVR box right after we got home from Hilton Head. We came home and the box would not turn on. I looked at it and thought that it was a major hardware failure based on the clicking noise it was making. I hate being right sometimes.

Disney is making a live action Beauty and the Beast. Why is Disney making their animated movies into live movies. Easy money probably.

The beautiful, talented, gorgeous Emma Watson is in it. She has some bad movies (Noah) but I absolutely loved her in Perks of Being a Wallflower.

Supposed to include the music from the Broadway version.

Since that version closed on Broadway, I'm happy that they are doing a live action version. Not sure that anyone can live up to Susan Egan on the original Broadway version.

Just between us, I'm pretty sure that was God's plan. Not everyone should be a parent.
Yet some people who should not be parents pop them out like rabbits.

My one cousin and his girlfriend are total deadbeats. They popped out two beautiful girls who are living with my aunt because both are in prison.

On the other side of my family, my one cousin just had a baby with her boyfriend last Thursday. He works at a bar, and she has no job. She also has mounds of students debt and owes my grandfather $800 since he cosigned the loans when my grandmother made him. And now she's got a baby, that was planned FYI. Very bright. Yet she reamed out our other cousin when she got pregnant (and later had a miscarriage) for being unwed and jobless and having a baby. Seems quite hypocritical to me.

Yet my cousin who is happily married, has a steady job as a nurse, and would make an excellent mother (and her husband an excellent father) has had four miscarriages and is still working on getting pregnant, and she might never be able to do so. Quite sad

If it is another Frozen, Disney will be very very happy.

Also, what do you expect? For Disney to move away from their long line of fairy tale type movies?
My family and I are not helping the Frozen craze to settle down.

In August, we came home with two Frozen t-shirts, an Anna & Elsa one for me and an Olaf one for my brother; a talking, singing Olaf for my brother, and an Elsa doll for me.

In between WDW trips, we bought an Olaf blanket for my brother, an Olaf tin bank for my brother's room, Frozen pencils, and an Olaf beanie baby for me.

This trip we came home with an Elsa picture for my room and an Elsa mug for me. My dad also very nearly bought a picture of Olaf by the fireplace.

Yeah, not helping.
