Want to eat in Walt's Apartment now 21 Royal in Disneyland?

$15,000. $15,000

I saw that thread and article, too. Whoever wrote it sure tried to blow some good "Magical" smoke.
And, if that's for one diner, it's beyond insane...!
Although, if it's for the entire group of 21, at just over $700 a pop, I could see some folks blowin' a chunk of a nice tax return on it...though, I wouldn't be one of 'em. :cyclops: ;)

Edit:
For some reason, when I first read the article, I thought it was 21 guests, instead of 12...don't know why, other than 21 is in the name of the place, but, that's an odd number. :cyclops:
So, $1,250 a pop sounds even more out there...!

Yea, the 70's is pretty comfortable, however, that is not really hot. The summer will get into the 80's, 90's and even 100's (although it hasn't hit 100 here in about 4 years. Used to be common place. When we do get winter stuff, it is usually in the form of freezing rain, which is anything but nice. However, it doesn't happen often. Our average temperature this time of year is the mid-50's so it has been well above average this year.

We've had more than our norm of ice this year. My 4 x 4 isn't useful on ice. I'd still be cold in the 50's. Just not as cold as I am now. I have a rougher time with mid 90's or above.

I could do a 10 hour drive. Just would never want to do a 10 hour drive. Around a 2.5 hour flight. Long enough.
Though if you tack on an hour drive to airport, 2 hours for security and at least an hour for DME getting closer to your timeline.
I am lucky because I do enjoy a road trip. I leave here about 6am. I miss most of the heavy rush hour traffic around the major cities and arrive in or near WDW by about 4pm. That's stopping for lunch and, you know, those nature breaks. Since I insist on having a vehicle no matter what, add on time to get a rental to the flight things and we are probably within a couple of hours of overall travel time.

I do other things as well. This year, when I head on down in February for a few days, I am stopping in St. Augustine and going to the World Golf Hall of Fame on the way down, so I will be stopping there overnight. I am planning on two days visiting Universal (my usual stay offsite) and I am still debating on actually going to a Park or two in WDW. I do want to go on property, perhaps play some golf or visit Disney Springs (or both), but, I haven't decided on that yet.

Nothing is useful on ice. That is any professional drivers nightmare. I don't like either, but, I would rather have 2 feet of snow then an 8th inch of ice. Vermont was always pretty good about getting out and putting stuff on the road, during and after ice storms, but, no vehicle should ever venture out on ice. There really is no control no matter how good a driver one is. It helps, but, it doesn't guarantee success. In fact, it will probably end up in a mess.

Sad to have seen Mary Tyler Moore passed away today. Great lady and such a fun actress.

Yes, so sad.
Don't remember the original airing of any of The Dic k Van Dyk e Show episodes, but, have enjoyed them over the years in reruns. :)
The Mary Tyler Moore Show was another one of those we rarely missed.
Mary, Lou, Ted, Murray, Rhoda, Sue Ann (Betty White, who was actually originally cast to play Blanche in Golden Girls, but was switched out at the last minute because of the similar character she played on MTM  ;)), Phyllis, Georgette. What a cast, and what a hoot...!!!!! :joyfull:
I vividly remember the final scene of the final episode...! :)

Well better than $15000 but still....I'd no more spend $1250 than I would $650 for a plastic tent at the MK.

Good-Long Life. :inlove:

Yeah, I only saw her with the DvD Show in reruns. Kinda happens when Richie is older than you are.

I enjoyed all the Characters in the Mary Show. Always a big fan of Ed Asner and as time went on of Betty White, too much of her role just kinda flew over my head early on, a mark of great writing staff that can create a family show that entertains kids and tastefully appeals to adults. :geek:

Have you been to Disney Springs since they somewhat finished (almost anyhow)??? If nothing else it is pretty especially at night and the free concerts are quite good.

Speaking of free concerts, don't know how it lines up for you but Universal is also doing free Mardi Gras concerts. There are a few I wouldn't mind listening to.
