This has been a horrible year for allergies, and asthma. I can't go without medicine, and an emergency inhaler everyday. This is the worst year for hubby and me. What is going on with the air quality? We have bad air days, almost everyday.
Betty, I'm saying this out of concern: if you're taking your inhaler every single day, that's rather concerning and warrents a trip to the doctor, preferably an allergist. You might need a change in daily meds. Every so often, they stop working. Also, make sure you are taking some sort of over-the-counter allergy med every day, and if they're really bad, you can actually take one in the evening and one in the morning (for instance, Claratin or Allegra in the morning and Zyrtec at night).

But taking your inhaler every day is a sign your asthma is not well-controlled, and that's not good.

I dont think I will have that issue then. After being in hospitals for years thank to my cancer when I was young, multiple surgeries and my implant installation. I'm pretty much used to needles.

Yep, although not nearly as much as you, I've had enough blood draws and IVs over the years, that they don't bug me at all.
Actually, they've never bugged me, and I always watch them do it.
But, my veins can be hard to find for some, so I've had more than a few 3 strikes and you're out situations, where they had to bring in someone else to do it (the last during my latest ER visit for the fun I'm presently dealing with).
There was only one time I've ever had one of those procedures done where I never even felt the slightest bit of a poke. This lady was a master at drawing blood, and I told her so. Never felt the needle goin' in, or comin' out. :)

Amen Sister-Friend. Where we all should be. Streets of America. Hmmm...do you even remember that part of the backlot tour?

I do, Residential Street.
The Golden Girls "house" was built at 7/8ths scale, according to the tour guide. :)

Me too, but, not so much for medical problems, but, blood donor. I used to give blood, either single donor or double donor as soon as I was eligible to do so again. It seemed like a way to help others out. I also had the good old universal blood type. Then I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and can no longer do that. I know they are erring on the side of caution, but, I didn't just get cancer overnight. It has been suspected for a long time due to PSA scores and no one seemed concerned, but, once it became official I no longer could give blood. I don't know why that bothers me, but, it does.

Anyway, I have had all kinds of needles for the donor purpose alone. My cancer has been completely stable for the last two years, no advancing and I don't want to do some evasive (oops), make that invasive, action on myself just so I can donate. In the donor process, I have had everything happen including a needle breaking in my arm. Still doesn't bother me.

Hi everyone, I guess the stress has gotten to me. I've had a migraine for the last 5 days. Today is a little better, just an occular migraine. I can't see well, but at least not pain. Going back to do ketchup. I hope everything is well with all of you. xoxo

Glad you're feeling better, Bets, but, hope you feel way better very soon! :)
I've had 2 ocular migraines. The first one was several years ago, and I thought I might be having a stroke, 'cause I'd never experienced or heard of anything like that before. I went to the ER, and while I was there my vision came back 100%, but, what a scare. And, of course, the ER doc had no clue and sent me home telling me to make an appointment with an ophthalmologist.
Those things are crazy, though.
DWifey and youngest DD were standing right in front of me and I could only see DWifey on my left, and none of youngest DD on my right, as most of the vision in my right eye was void...not dark, just void. :cyclops:
Thankfully, the ophthalmologist explained it all to me, and that it was really nothing to worry about. Definitely very friggin' weird though.

Sympathy like.
I've always heard Denver proper has had bad air quality for decades, although I thought y'all were a little further up and away.
Anyway, hope it improves, soon...! :)
