Yep, although not nearly as much as you, I've had enough blood draws and IVs over the years, that they don't bug me at all.
Actually, they've never bugged me, and I always watch them do it.
But, my veins can be hard to find for some, so I've had more than a few 3 strikes and you're out situations, where they had to bring in someone else to do it (the last during my latest ER visit for the fun I'm presently dealing with).
There was only one time I've ever had one of those procedures done where I never even felt the slightest bit of a poke. This lady was a master at drawing blood, and I told her so. Never felt the needle goin' in, or comin' out. :)
I unfortunately have the same issue as you, thankfully its only on one arm that is the problem (getting chemo constantly in the veins.. makes them smaller and thinner.) thankfully my other arm wasn't that affected.

This has been a horrible year for allergies, and asthma. I can't go without medicine, and an emergency inhaler everyday. This is the worst year for hubby and me. What is going on with the air quality? We have bad air days, almost everyday.

Blah. That's rough. Didn't start out good either with all those wild fires.

Sometime during the week of Feb. 12th. I haven't nailed down exact days yet. Just going there for two days, but, that should be sufficient. I don't like everything there, but, what I do should just take about two days. It's the week just leading into Presidents day weekend. I should be on my way back home by Saturday. That is unless I decide to do more which I am inclined on occasion to do because I am a "wild and crazy guy".
You'll love Diagon Alley it's even more amazing than Hogsmeade! Hit the new stuff early especially if you don't have EP, have a great trip and pics please.

If it hadn't just cost me $5.00 I would be laughing about this. We had the ice and snow storm a week ago last Friday night. I finally got around today to get to the car wash to get the light coating of salt and road dirt off the car. When I went to pay, I was told that there was an additional "mandatory" $5.00 charge for a prep wash. The prep wash was to prepare the car to get a regular wash so they "wouldn't scratch the paint" on the car. The prep involved the same action as the regular wash, but, because the folks down here don't know any better, they have been convinced that this was absolutely necessary before washing the car after a snow event. When I lived in Vermont I used to carry around the equivalent of the entire NC usage of this past storm on my car for months at at time.

I protested but got no place. I'm so tired lately of fighting battles with ignorance that I just shrugged my shoulders and said... enjoy that $5.00 because it is the last you will ever see from me. My last car spent 7 winters in the salt and sand of Vermont winters and when I sold it this year it was 11 years old and the finish on it was factory. Still had a high gloss. I have to wonder if people are spending so much time online these days that they never were able to learn basic life and what makes thing work. It is a sad testament I think.
What the what?????????????????? I've never heard of such nonsense:eek: Some winters the cars get a bath every other week or so and some years it's once or twice the whole season depending on weather we can turn the outside water on or not. Never had a problem with doing just that.

Hi everyone, I guess the stress has gotten to me. I've had a migraine for the last 5 days. Today is a little better, just an occular migraine. I can't see well, but at least not pain. Going back to do ketchup. I hope everything is well with all of you. xoxo
Sympathy like. Dr Figgy says to spend the day today in comfy jammies, watch Disney movies and take a nap at some point. You need a day to veg out! No dealing with the outside world! xoxo

That's so sad. As they say, a fool is born every minute. We do a wash every couple month's, we have had no problem, can't say the same for the driveway. After one year, and paying 12,000$ required by the HOA, it is the literal pits now. We wash off the road junk, but it keeps coming back. The road crews don't sweep up the stuff when it isn't needed.
You really need to move!

I started making it easy years ago. I tell them if you don't have a pediatric needle and specialist you're not getting blood out of me, it just isn't going to happen.

Me too, but, not so much for medical problems, but, blood donor. I used to give blood, either single donor or double donor as soon as I was eligible to do so again. It seemed like a way to help others out. I also had the good old universal blood type. Then I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer and can no longer do that. I know they are erring on the side of caution, but, I didn't just get cancer overnight. It has been suspected for a long time due to PSA scores and no one seemed concerned, but, once it became official I no longer could give blood. I don't know why that bothers me, but, it does.

Anyway, I have had all kinds of needles for the donor purpose alone. My cancer has been completely stable for the last two years, no advancing and I don't want to do some evasive action on myself just so I can donate. In the donor process, I have had everything happen including a needle breaking in my arm. Still doesn't bother me.
Congrats on being stable:confused: Seriously that's great news and I'm not sure I'd want anything invasive done either.
