I would say it was painless, but that would not be the truth. There were times when it was painful despite my scalp being numbed because all it really is is having a needle inject your plasma into the scalp over and over again. To me the worst part was getting my blood drawn because I broke into a sweat and felt dizzy resulting in the ammonia snap. If you have a thing against needles, then you may not like it. After the procedure was over, my head looked like bloody murder because of all the injections.
I understand that! There is an RN at my Doctor's office that does the blood draws. I always kid him that if I faint, just to hurry up and get it done before he wakes me - not to worry, I'll be fine. The truth of the matter is he is the best Nurse I have ever had for drawing blood! First time, every time! No multiple pokes or digging around with the needle! :)

I've had this job for almost 2 years , and I finally decided to get business cards. Until recently, I was internal, but now I'm a co-leader for my company's young professional group, so that involves not only going to our events, but going to the other events as well. I was tired of having to hand people my phone to enter contacts, and this is just slightly more professional.

But... I'll have to order new cards in 7 months since my office is moving.

@Goofyernmost when are you going to UNI?
Sometime during the week of Feb. 12th. I haven't nailed down exact days yet. Just going there for two days, but, that should be sufficient. I don't like everything there, but, what I do should just take about two days. It's the week just leading into Presidents day weekend. I should be on my way back home by Saturday. That is unless I decide to do more which I am inclined on occasion to do because I am a "wild and crazy guy".

If it hadn't just cost me $5.00 I would be laughing about this. We had the ice and snow storm a week ago last Friday night. I finally got around today to get to the car wash to get the light coating of salt and road dirt off the car. When I went to pay, I was told that there was an additional "mandatory" $5.00 charge for a prep wash. The prep wash was to prepare the car to get a regular wash so they "wouldn't scratch the paint" on the car. The prep involved the same action as the regular wash, but, because the folks down here don't know any better, they have been convinced that this was absolutely necessary before washing the car after a snow event. When I lived in Vermont I used to carry around the equivalent of the entire NC usage of this past storm on my car for months at at time.

I protested but got no place. I'm so tired lately of fighting battles with ignorance that I just shrugged my shoulders and said... enjoy that $5.00 because it is the last you will ever see from me. My last car spent 7 winters in the salt and sand of Vermont winters and when I sold it this year it was 11 years old and the finish on it was factory. Still had a high gloss. I have to wonder if people are spending so much time online these days that they never were able to learn basic life and what makes thing work. It is a sad testament I think.

Jason got it...?! o_O ;)
Sympathy like.

Seriously, have dealt with that before, and it was no fun. Luckily, it died on a Thurs. and pop and I replaced it that Sat.
But, that was years ago. Starting to wonder when this one will finally croak. :cyclops:
Our's go out every 7 years, almost on the dot! It must be engineered in. Long ago we had a water heater that lasted over 20 years. No, we don't use more hot water. In fact we use less.

That's so sad. As they say, a fool is born every minute. We do a wash every couple month's, we have had no problem, can't say the same for the driveway. After one year, and paying 12,000$ required by the HOA, it is the literal pits now. We wash off the road junk, but it keeps coming back. The road crews don't sweep up the stuff when it isn't needed.
