Isnt it a bit strange that they like you so much but they have to find a position for you?

Not always. Like @StarWarsGirl some firms and universities along with schools do recruiting. My DD where she finally landed had 3 or 4 interviews, started with a phone interview. She kinda new they were going to hire her, the gentleman from human resourses liked her, as they both graduated from the same University. The interview mostly went in the direction of their alma mater clannish that way. She thought she'd be heading to the University campus that was about 45 minutes away and instead landed closer satellite campus. About a month on the job and DD Boss Lady told her the HR guy that sent her to the satellite for a final interview/placement told Boss Lady he was sending her over-HIRE HER! Sometimes they just know a good candidate and they are just looking for the best fit for the candidate and their needs.

It's more because I'm fresh out of college that I need more training and mentorship and less independence, so they're looking at which role will be the best fit. They're thinking assistant recruiter moving into a full recruiter role, but because I have licensing to administer insurance and I already know employee benefits, they're also thinking more of an HR role in their small MD office.

I wonder if the lifetime warranty will remain. It's always been good stuff.

And the warranty was so easy. I brought back a few hand tools over the years, they walked to shelf grabbed a different one and you were pretty much on your way.

I had a lifetime guarantee for my over the top expensive inline outdoor grill. The company was absorbed many years later and the warranty was reduced to one year from the merge. So you do make me wonder???? Does Stanley do the lifetime warranty?

My local deer like me, the birds know when they're getting fed, heck even the bunnies don't scamper away when I'm out walking but the groundhogs run and hide:D

We have had a bunny for years that took up residence in our yard. Had several litters in the spring in the yard too, even with Walt. She and Walt got along so well. He'd trot around the yard every so often half heartedly chasing her and she'd just as calmly dodge him. They actually were playing. She'd hop right past him on the patio if he was laying down, sometimes he'd actually lift his head to watch her pass. Our squirrels have zero fear of family or canine. Now deer, that is a different story.

That's essentially what's happening with this company. HR person told me that they like me and want to bring me on, but that I need more training and experience for the role that I applied for. I applied for a role on a whim that I didn't have nearly as much experience as the posting specified, and they just happened to see my resume and said, "We want to meet her," and now they're just figuring out how to get me in there.

So far, I'm very impressed by this company. Zero red flags coming up, a lot of green ones.

Congrats. When do you think you'll start?

Thanks! I have enjoyed it...! :)

No Doc visit 'til sometime after the MRI I finally have scheduled for next Half-day Friday afternoon.
The symptoms have calmed down a bit over the last week or so, but, as per usual, I know they'll be back with a vengeance at some point soon.
Depending on how many surgeries are required, this could end up being a bit of a drawn out process, unfortunately.
But, it is what it is, and I'll deal with it. Others have a lot worse problems than I.
Good luck xoxo
