Disneyland...the place where I discovered monorails have horns.
Can you explain what you mean by that? Is there some sort of odd overlay?

The Disneyland monorails have to sound their horns at certain points, that is probably what she means.
Thank you! I was so excited I pratically skipped in. First ride was PoftC. I was getting really fixated on it. I do feel bad for my friend. She's back at the room with homework. Her online course was more heavy than she was expecting. She'll join me in DTD for dinner later. While I've definitely been enjoying myself, I will be glad to have her with me tomorrow. It's much more fun with a friend.WOO HOO!!! Have FUN!!!
@ajrwdwgirl is correct. And the WDW monorails have them as well, but they don't use them as much. The first time I was here, I was slightly freaked out by the monorail horn. I heard a WDW monorail horn some point later.I "think" the WDW monorails also have horns, but don't use them as a matter of course--perhaps only for problems to warn the other pilots approaching.
For those inquiring about photos...I have good news and bad news.
The good news is that I have my mom's camera and am taking plenty of photos, so there will be photos. There may even be a trip report.
The bad news is that until I get to my laptop, I have no access to my photos. So there will likely be few photos until I get home. I'm takinf a few with my phone, but not many.
I hope so. I love Mr. Potato Head. I played with him for years.
Time for another I hate winter rant. I went out for my walk and fell on my tushie. Nothing hurts except my ego but what exactly is freezing fog? I'm having a hard time finding anything good about winter. Rant over.
Yah, it's not the best thing for the environment. We have a (small) nature area not far from where I live, and they really reduce the salt on the roads near the water. (Signs are posted that it is a low salt area and to reduce speed by cars.)
However, salt on roads and sidewalks, steps, etc. can reduce slip and fall injuries, and also save motorists' lives on the roads and highways. Ice can be extremely dangerous, so I have no problem with them using salt in winter.

Top of the morning, everyone (at least my American friends). Work week starts today for me. Anyone with big plans for this week? Or is everyone recovering from the Holidays? LOL!
going to have to eat a lot of salad to recover from the barrage of food of the holidays.
