So, we are supposed to get 6 inches of heavy wet snow in my area starting this morning. I figured I could run out and get some groceries when the store opens at 7:00, but I just looked outside and it's coming down cats and dogs already! I mean it went from nothing, to a full-blown blizzard out there in less than 20 minutes. I'll shop tomorrow; too much of a wuss to drive in snow.
We went shopping to beat the snow that was coming in......and so did everyone else. :bored:

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
My cousin's foster child of 8+ years is being transferred by the agency that has custody of her.
(Too little, too late ... but what do I know?)
So, Cuz had to go get photos printed to produce a "memory book" of Shannon's time with her family.

Anyway, she stopped by here with some photos of my parents that were taken just weeks before my dad got sick (from Auntie's surprise 65th birthday).

Coincidentally, I drove through my old childhood neighbourhood this afternoon, and ended up driving by my dad's old work parking lot. When I was in my teens and early 20's, there were many times I would be near his parking lot and I would stop and leave him a note under his windshield. (I told you I was an awesome daughter.)

You know, you could turn this all around. In the fashion world, older styles eventually come back in vogue. So if anyone looks at you funny about wearing your waist pack, you just tell them that you're on the cutting edge of fashion and ahead of the curve! Then follow that up with a condescending look and say, "peasant"! :p
