Nothing I haven't seen before in college. A lot of businesses think they're good indicators. Some of them are rather inciteful. Others, well, not so much.

I'd really like to go back to the days when people doing the hiring could stand on their own two feet, and just make their own honest assessment of the candidate. Not a fan of these personality tests--to me it's also invasive and uncomfortable.

I find personality tests hilarious. It says more about the lack of confidence interviewers and firms have in themselves and how little some human resource departments are able to think outside the box and put stock into what flavor of ice cream best describes yourself as insightful. Police Department use to utilize these type of questions in their exams and have mostly stopped...oddly they were geared to men and women rarely had the right ratio of points to be considered, red flagged and were weeded out.

Me, I've spent a great deal of my life when sitting in a chair on top of one of my feet. It had nothing to do with my personality more a physical allowance. I was very short in school, I sat on a foot to raise myself up to see over the person in front of me. The tests show it as a red flag, shy, indecisive and won't make a decision vs she is short and can't see over tall people. Still HR being data driven can't look past answer.

Can I give this six likes??!!! :inlove: :inlove: :inlove: :inlove: :inlove: :inlove:

I had a job interview this morning. Was going to go on the interview and then go to Philly with my friend, but she had to work. :( So my mom and I just rode up and then went back home after the interview. It went well. They pretty much indicated that they need to check my references and I have to take a personality test, but other than that, if all goes well, I should get the job. Hopefully.

No adulting tomorrow other than finishing packing. Going to take a nap in a few.

Good luck with the job, hope you get it!

But her boys will eat 399 of them! :)

I would love a veg day. My brain is fried this week, being stuck in some learning sessions for my new job after New Year's. I literally did not even know what day it was today, that's how fried I was.

I know how you feel, I had an appointment yesterday so I didn't work and then today I was just trying to get everything on track but just kept falling behind. When I came home from work today I had a list of things to do but I felt so fried I barely did anything.

The Strudel looked awesome, no doubts that it went over so well. :hungry: As much as I envy your offices food parades If I worked there my girth would likely be 2x what it should be and people would be singing...Baby Got Back as I passed by. :joyfull: They'd need to add an additional room for post-lunch time aerobics class for me to survive the lovely food in your office. :hungry:

Thanks, Gabe! :)

Hahaaa...!!! :hilarious:
It's kinda' funny actually, you'd think all 22 of us at the firm would be rather large 'cause of all the food and treats. In fact, out of that number, I'd say only about 5 are overweight, and 3 of those not by very much...! :)

Yes, yes you can. :joyfull:

Guess you don't appreciate being asked: While you are in a sitting position, do you cross your leg, sit with your knees together, straight out or sit on one foot? I can only imagine the individual that came up with that one and what which position of their legs they awarded more points to. Ick ick ick. :devilish:

^^^This and add in spin class and a pilates class:eek:

I like spin classes if they are not nutso, so many instructors are a bit crazed. I've never done pilates but I'd like to. I like the idea of lower back strengthening and how it is supposed to keep your balance in line. Will look into those classes as I'd need an intro before I did on my own. I want warm weather so I can ride my bike.
