I feel the same way....why are people so cruel?

Me too. I'm like you, I hate cold temps, and shortened days. Not enough sunlight. Hubby and I may take an unexpected trip south next month.....We are both stressed out of our minds. I am hanging on, but barely.Sympathy like. I just want to hide under the covers until spring
I'm going to bed early tonight. I have no energy at the moment.I'm still shivering so I'm going to have a glass of wine and watch Frozen before bed. I have to be up extra early tomorrow.
Thank you....
Feel better. Bronchitis is nasty stuff. I used to get it all the time in the winter until I had my adenoids removed. I'd get a sinus infection, which would move into my chest. MISERABLE. I hope you are over it soon. Does your doc give meds for it? Mine wouldn't, but the Dutch hardly ever give antibiotics. But I hope you can get something to help.In other news, I have bronchitis. I've had a cold for about a week, and last night I started feeling really miserable, so I went to the doctor today, and sure enough...
Ideally, I would just stay home all day today, but sadly, not an ideal situation. I have my very last final today, and I don't want to delay it. I also have to go pick up a cord for my honors program and drop off my creative writing portfolio, so I unfortunately have to leave. Tomorrow, I have plans to take my brother (and his one friend since I let him invite one of his friends and FYI, I am an awesome sister) to see Rogue One, so I will do that, and then I will stay home on Saturday and Sunday.
Lovely stuff.
So funny, you have raised my spirits, once again. I just want this year to be over! As all of us has gone through things, we couldn't have thought of....
Don't remind me...I'm in denial. But Dobbby is dead
Yeah, that topic always seems to lead to a lot of confrontation. Here in the states we seem to have lost our ability to calmly sit down and discuss issues. Things seem to deteriorate into a screaming match pretty quickly. I wish we could all learn to get along and respect others and their opinions, even if they are contrary to our own...
Okay, you win by a long shot!Yes very close. First project whole hog, followed by lasagna( I make 4 versions regular with sausage, meatballs and cheese, just cheese, gf/df with meat, gf/df, oops make that 6 veggie both regular and gf/df, I've been known to make all 6 for parties)
Well, he had a transplant 11 years ago...it seems to be going well, but he does have to be careful and it means that if we are sick, we can not be around him. His body can't fight off infection by itself, so if he gets a fever, he goes straight to the hospital. He got sick 2 years ago around this time, wound up going to the ER on New Years and spent 6 weeks in the hospital recovering from Pneumonia. So we don't mess around with it. If DD isn't feeling better, I'll stay home with her and DH will go with DS. It will all work out. How are you feeling today? Any better?0I'm sorry you have to face illness with your DD, life gets in the way of plans. My prayers for you....and BIL kidney problems are nothing to mess around with. I hope BIL can find a solution...
Back in the day, it was called going steady. From my experience, it could change in a moment....James is now wearing a ring from a girl at school made it
I'm trying to go with the flow.... good moment's....and stressful moments...but, that's just life isn't it? Good for him, I like dogs with a strong personality! Freddy was like that!My dog hates anything put on him. He thinks he's handsome enough -- no embellishment needed!
Winter, stinks! Along with shortened days. I may eat dinner in bed!We have a warm up to the teens on Friday and Saturday just for some snow and then back into the negatives on Sunday. Next week looks like the balmy 20's.
Need this for the collection
My Mom a high school teacher back in the day needed a break too every once in awhile. She called it a
Mental Health Day.

Are you trying to tell me that there is hope that we can all come together and understand one another??? It sure would be nice if there wasn't this big divide that we seem to have going on!I work in a relatively small office and even though we are not supposed to talk about politics or religion - naturally we do anyway. But we have civil conversations about it. And we don't go running to the Personnel Officer if someones opinion is different and they hurt our feelings.
