I'm not a big fan of cards either as a giver or a receiver.

I'm just the opposite. I love cards. :inlove: Actually, over the weekend, I finished writing all my Christmas cards (about 18 this year), and put them in the mailbox yesterday. :) The cards I bought had a pretty Christmas tree, and lots of animals--really cute. I love (fantasy) pictures like that, where all the animals play together (no tigers stalking smaller prey, etc. ;) )

P.S. to @FutureCEO -- Don't have a heart attack that I bought 18 cards -- they came in a box for a good price! :joyfull:

Not heated but if the wind drops and the suns out we aint wimps here

Since you and Mrs. Ferret ain't no wimps, I think you should add a cute, little Christmas tree in there. You could have extra holiday viewing happiness, in two places on your property! :) I could see you two snuggled together in the summerhouse, holding mugs of hot cocoa, with melted marshmallows on top. :hungry:

I agree, I'm not into many new Character's I like the old cartoons, and Disney from the early years. Today, not so much. Even my DD who has been into Disney, is getting frustrated with the new Disney. She thinks the cabana's are a crazy move. Along with so many moves to make ton's of money. She will be out, when we are. It's so sad all around.

The cabana tents I can't wrap my brain around. Tents are hot as the air is trapped, we had this issue with our original gazebo and I spent enough time in scoring tents for outdoor summer swim meets. I realize the tents would have to be priced high to make them out of reach for most...still I look at the parks as a place to go enjoy not a place to go hide in a tent. Still $650/day can get you a very nice deluxe hotel room on property. If I wasn't going to play in the park I wouldn't pay $100+ a day to get in plus rent a $650 tent. I'd be using that $750 for a very nice resort instead. Can't wrap my brain around some of the things Disney does---more I can't wrap my brain around the gaga guests express and toss money at 'cause Disney found another fundraiser.

arggh, that looks delicius!

It was awesome. We were there for about 1.5 hours. Had a lovely glass of riesling while waiting for the steaks to be prepared. When the steak was almost ready we filled our side plate(s), second glass of riesling-and ate more than I do in 3 meals and still did not finish the steak or some of the sides (except those yummy brussel sprouts.) When we were finished we pushed in our chairs, left the mess behind and went back to my Mom's. My only prep work for that meal was to purchase my Mom a box of dark chocolate orange peel candies from Fannie May, a delicacy she enjoys that I can't stand. Bluck.

You're not the only one! For that type of money you could get a room, park ticket and taxi service from any park to your hotel to escape the heat and room service!

Thanks for the reminder I still have one candy bar for Christmas to buy. Several trips ago we got my father in law some Cadbury bars and now he's hooked on them

Agree, the only way these tents somehow fit. is when theres run disney events. Sort of "tents" for companies and sponsored runners.
But tents for visitors of the parks? Now I understand why they keep removing benches..
