Mayo Clinic guidelines are a few per year because of the steroids. I believe the guidelines have changed because of the formula and the steroids are better than they were years ago, plus they now have a baseline for how many can be tolerate without the steroids causing damage where they didn't have that before. So thinking you are safe if you need more in the future. Seems like 3 per year is the tops they give for not only epidurals but for other pain related steroid injections to knees, hands for carpal tunnel etc. So it seems you have no worries for your current or future needs.
So glad to hear this. Thanks!

I think it all depends on the type of person you are. I've never been a cryer. When I have it is a rarity. Always been that way and I'm in my AARP years now. I'm just emotionally a stoic type person. Sure I get upset or find things sad or depressing but I seem to always have a grip on emotions. Still I avoid sad and depressing things, life is too short in my opinion. If I am going to watch a movie or a TV show it will bring me either laughter or fun. I have little interest in spending my time watching something sad or depressing.
I agree, why be sad, when you can find something that makes you happy?

This year I got sneaky and shredded Brussels Sprouts and leeks then sauteed them in a bit of olive oil with a touch of garlic and they were a big hit. I just put them out and didn't tell anybody what they were because we have a few in our group who claim to hate them. One of the haters asked for the recipe:D
I love Brussels Sprouts, with added leaks, that will be amazing. I hope to try that soon.

This is why I like you two, you have good taste! :)

I was really disappointed when they removed the Snow White's Scary Adventures with the Princess meet and greet. I felt they should have redone the ride as a Tangled dark ride. I listened to an interview with Tony Baxter (Disney Imagineer) a year or so ago and he talked about how he thought Tangled was a better movie than Frozen as well, and lamented use of Tangled for bathrooms instead of an attraction. This made him my favorite imagineer (plus he is responsible for Big Thunder). :inlove:

Yep, Tony Baxter is responsible for a lot of good Disney Imagineering...! :)

I hope you feel better soon. But with your hectic schedule, it sounds like you need sleep more than anything! :jawdrop:

Anyway, a friend of ours (a weight lifter), just had an epidural a week ago, and he feels 90% better now. This was the first time he ever had one, and he said he's really glad he went for it.
They are the best , but the needle size can sure scare you!

@Wrangler-Rick I remember your conversation about barn fires and there was a massive one about six miles from us yesterday. It happened at 4:30 a.m. and they are guesstimating it was caused by a power surge in a heating unit and may have been smouldering for a bit causing the barn to be a total loss. They lost twelve sulky racers.
:(
Oh, that is so so sad. Dad helped to put out a barn fire, when I was young...so scary to watch, but they got out all the horses safely. Old barns can go up so quickly...

You'd laugh if you saw how quickly I change direction if someone starts to sneeze or cough. About Face! I change tables or places in line. I am a germaphobic.

Nothing grosses me out more than people who blow their nose at a table in a home or In a restaurant. Then they pass bowls or pickup salt shakers etc. so disgusting. Plus the sound when you are eating is stomach turning
I never blow my nose at the table, so easy to go to the bathroom aka MaryJane, and blow your nose dispose of a tissue and wash hands.

Sounds good (but I substituted chicken for tofu in my head when I thought about eating it). I don't know if I have ever had hot and sour soup. I was looking at a review for the Dim Sum brunch at Morimoto's yesterday and that was one of the items featured and it looked good and like something I would eat.

Give it a try sometime at a good Chinese place.
I've had bad, in between, and excellent hot and sour soup, over the years.
Many years ago, I only ever had egg drop or wonton soup as an appetizer (and egg rolls, of course ;)).
I tried hot and sour one time when a place was out of the other two.
It was sooo good, I can't remember the last time I had the others...!!!!! :hungry: :)
