After that, we decided to finish off the afternoon/evening at the brewery the husband of our DD's coworker cofounded (he and another guy). They introduced another beer recently. Tasty...! :hungry:

Some of the courtyard and the food truck...:)

The bar, indoor seating area, and some of the production facility... :)

This cute pup out in the courtyard. His name is Shiner. They named him after Shiner Beer, which is the beer brewed in my mothers hometown...! :)

And, a shot out front at dusk as we were leaving...

Yep, Shiner is sold by us now too. A pastor friend of hubby's is from Texas and was disappointed when he first came here and there was no Shiner and would come back from Texas with cases of it. Now he can get it easily up here.

Wow! I just had no clue...! :)
I remember back when I was a kiddo, it was such a small operation, and pretty much only brewed one beer...Shiner Premium.
Then they came out with Shiner Bock, and it was a huge hit. It started selling like crazy all over Texas, and became extremely popular with college students, etc., with kegs of the stuff at parties...!!! :hilarious:
Now, the Spoetzl Brewery also brews all kinds of seasonal, "craft" beers, along with their usual offerings. Shiner Premium is also now known as Shiner Blonde.
It's just amazing how popular the offerings of that little brewery in Shiner, Texas have become over the years...! :)

Major success! I got about $200 worth of patterns for $12, patterns are so over priced! and my ds who never seems to want anything found 2 things he really wants. He was actually excited he may get one of them, I got an almost smile and he was verbal:eek: He's even argreed to go outside and rake leaves today. It's a great day:inlove:

That is all awesome!
So glad to hear about DS...! :)

Those are just flat out, ugly! We have those close to us! I don't get it. I wouldn't want to clean that in a million years!

Yes, so many are just plain gross. :depressed:
A mish-mash of incompatible styles, whacked massing, ugly proportion, etc.
Again, tastes vary greatly, and so much of it can be client driven.
Our firm does it's best to advise as we see fit. After all, that's what our clients are paying top dollar for...we are an architectural design firm, not an architectural drafting company. ;)
If you're going to blow off our advice, you can save an a'load of money by just hiring somebody to draft up your creation.
Fortunately, most of our clients are open to, understand, appreciate our professional guidance, and are extremely happy with the end results...! :)
