As y'all know, I'm fine with beer, wine, or liquor...I just prefer beer...!!!!! :hungry: :)
There's currently beer in our fridge. No idea when it will get used. Although the last time we had steamed crabs, my dad stole one of my Mike's hard ciders...then complained I buy carpy alcohol, so maybe the next time he wants a beer, he can drink one of the cans. Who knows when that will be.

I inherited my mother's hatred of beer. And her hatred of coffee. But especially the beer. Coffee is gross, too, though.

This happened one year ago today. As you can clearly see, the Pope is looking directly at me and appears to be getting ready to wave. The only explanation that I can think of is that it was a slightly overcast day and my halo was glowing a little brighter then usual thus the attraction.

So I got that going for me. BTW the arm and hand in the picture is not mine so forget about possible identity pilferation.

Oh my! That is special! Sounds like you're covered...!
As far as you know... :cautious:

It's so nice to hear about a workplace that is so good to their employee's. It's a very rare thing these days!

It is, indeed! :)
But, It is actually more stressful than I sometimes indicate. But, it's also still a place were we are taken pretty good care of because of that fact.
We are constantly in competition with other firms. One client perceives you didn't give it your all, bad word of mouth, etc.
All in all, I'll take it...!!! :)

Cool!
None of us have ever been rebel spy, but, there's always next time...! :)
We've all been the Rebel Spy. I was it first in 2011 one of the first times that we went on it, and then after that, I wasn't it again until last trip.
When I took my friend two years ago, Star Tours was the very first ride of the trip. My friend hadn't been on it since they changed over to the newer version. She got picked as the Rebel Spy. The expression on her face was priceless. Perfect timing. :D

They are getting it under control, but it is marching our way, as far as the horrible smoke. This is a crazy year so far. We still have the air conditioning on to clear the smoke in our house. Tonight heat! Can you say:greedy::greedy::greedy::greedy: and certainly nuts. What next, a hurricane in Colorado?;);););)

So very glad to hear it sounds like they got it under control!
Crazy-warm weather here too!
Although, I'm not complainin'! We could use a little of the wet stuff too, though...! :)

Good luck on your shopping day. We have two Christmas presents purchased. I love doing this early!

Shopping went okay. I got a couple pairs of pants near the end of my shopping but it was just so tiring trying on pants. Some were too loose (yay), then too tight (sadness), then too long, then too short. I finally found 2 pairs at JC Penny and another pair at Gordmans (don't know if you have it but it is a discount place). The last pair actually fit the best but I almost didn't try them on, it was the price that made me do it as they were under $20. I did find a few Christmas stocking stuffers but there were a lot of stores I wanted to go to but didn't have the energy too.

I was able to meet up with a friend for lunch. I hadn't seen her for a couple months, so that was nice. After lunch though I wanted to go to Target but I just didn't have it in me to fight the weekend crowds. I talked to another friend when I got home and she wants to go shopping in a couple weeks so I will look at Target then. And since I found some pants this week it can just be fun shopping for Christmas and maybe a little for myself.

This post makes me sad;)....beer = yum and coffee = yummy. However until last year I could only drink mochas (lots of chocolate & milk) but that was too many calories and sugar so I went straight to coffee. I used a smidge of milk in the transition but now black and dark is best. It is strange what I make myself like, I forced myself in college to drink beer because it was cheap and now I love it especially dark beer and I basically made myself like coffee. Yet, I can't force myself to love veggies like broccoli or cauliflower. :depressed: Everyone has different tastes I guess.

Our high here today was 85 and it was again a beautiful day...! :)
Although, I'm not against some cooler temps showing up sometime in the near future.
That short time of the year when we don't hafta' run our A/C or heat is great for our utility bill...! :)

We have had a strange weather week, it has ranged from mid 40's to 50 and then to mid 70's. Now we are back to low 50's. Natural AC for us!

With all the talk about being the Rebel Spy or That Guy in Monsters I have been none of those. However, hubby has been the rebel spy, that guy, and the churro guy. That's fine for Monsters because I don't want to be on the screen, but I would like to be the Rebel spy at least once. Maybe they sense my sympathies to the dark side.....
