Oh Joy! Memories. The bathrooms here got rehab'd completely. Other than the size, not too big not too small I hated our bathrooms.
And yes a sledge hammer was used to remove the walls and cast iron bathtub. The walls are now 3/4 white tile throughout the entire bathrooms including showers. Ugly shower doors gone. Everything went down to the studs, copper pipes installed and re-wallboarded.
All new fixtures, cabinets etc. And a jacuzzi tub (that was used far more in the first year than it has been ever since.) The floor is a classic black and white tile. I went for everything to be timeless. I can change out shower curtains, towels and decor but never want to live through bath remodels again, that was not fun. And costly.

PS- if you want a new toilet you don't need a sledge hammer. Just tighten the nuts at the bottom and eventually it will just crack. *ducks and hides*
I'll keep that in mind. I have bathroom tile, on the floor and hate it. Don't know what I would change it to.

That's quite an unnerving thing to happen so soon after getting home. Did you find out why they were chasing the man and did he get caught?
I wish I knew, no one seems to have heard what happened in the end. This little town likes to keep these things silent.....Except for warnings......then nothing....no it's all over you can come out now, just nothing....

Tomatoes and peppers, lots of peppers(bell and 2 types of hot) because I'm not sure how much longer they will be in season, eggplant and lots of that for the same reason, arugala, dandelion greens, beets, green and yellow squash(surprised it's still holding on), 10 very large butternut squash for $10, a couple of pears, yellow beans, carrots, potatoes, onions and a 1/2 bushel each of Crispin and Jonah Gold apples. guess what I'm doing today. i also got a nice surprise at the fabric store fleece was on an even better sale than I thought it was and my coupons were for 20% off sale price guess I'll be prewashing all of that today. We had lots of fun and James was very helpful picking apples, M not so much, he's not a fan:cautious:

Oh my.
Our high yesterday was only 82, and only 75 today.
This winter weather is killin' us...!!! :hilarious: :D  ;) :)

I'm a big fan of the long tiles that look like planks of wood. I want. Just never found a place to put them.

Pictures don't do them justice. Many look like wood but are ceramic tile. I kinda like the idea of the look of wood in
some areas but the ease of cleaning ceramic tile. Someday I'll the light bulb will turn on and I'll put some in.
