Yes, thank you. I am ready to leave this morning, I got up early so I could drink tea and get on here to catch up. I love early mornings, they are so quiet and peaceful. So our plan is to go to The Cheesecake Factory for dinner. I will try to get my kids to help me post pictures here since I am technologically challenged. If not, I might have to just give narrative until I get back.
Safe travels and go Seahawks! :)

You got 12 out of 16 right!
  1. YOU PASSED
Passing the Canadian citizenship test requires that you get at least 75% of the questions correct. You’ve proven your TRUE patriot love!

Wow you were up late. Did the DD go back to school?
Since Christmas break started on Dec. 18 until yesterday, they've only been in school for 4 days total. Two last week and two this week. No school today or Monday.

Last night we actually went to sleep shortly after seven so I woke up for about twenty minutes before deciding I didn't need to be up and went back to sleep.

Wow. Why are prices so reasonable on everything where you live??!! It's kinda like your area is stuck in some sort of time warp, and you must be thrilled!! :)

Yea, a lot of the cost of living down here is pretty reasonable, but, not everything.
Although, we're not in the market for any, real estate is definitely creepin' up there. Our sales tax is $0.0825 on the dollar (last I remember, it was $0.0650 in Central Florida), and we are the home of Whole Paycheck/Paycheque ;) (Foods) Market.

Our sales tax is 13% - 5% Federal, 8% Provincial. Applied to all Goods & Services.
Bet you're glad you didn't pass that Citizenship Test, eh?!

What an odd story! ;) I had to laugh when I read the link, just thinking about all the freedom we had as kids. We'd go anywhere on our bikes, or walk miles (basically, "free range") in the local area, play, and just have fun. Nope, no neglect there from parents, etc.; we just "lived" normal, children's lives. Thank God I was a kid back then.

Yep, same here. I wouldn't wanna' be a kid these days.
We'd disappear into the NoCal foothills on our bikes for the entire day on a weekend, or during the summer.
Mom and pop knew we'd be back in time for dinner.
We did tons of stuff with our folks, but, we were also allowed to go find our own stuff to do. :)

But you have to remember wages vary greatly from state to state and region to region.

Texas Average Mean Wage is $15.81 and Annual Mean Wage is $44,400

MA Average Mean Wage is $21.07 and Annual Mean Wage is $56,410

Costs vary and even things like housing costs and property taxes are worlds apart in cost by areas.

What's really cool is when you live in Texas and make beyond MA Annual Mean Wage... :cautious: ;) :)
