We as in nation. Obviously, not everyone falls into the exact definition. What I was saying is that in the time-frame that was depicting, it is possible that the entire scenario was more likely to play out then as compared to now when we are soooo race conscious and it is just another reason why there is division.

Let's just ask the question what is more harmful to a homogenized society, a show that only shows blacks with blacks, asians with asians, whites with whites and we don't seem to find a problem with that, but, if there is a combination then one will be white because they are intentionally whiting it up and not because it is showing a less then bigoted relationship. Sometimes we can't see the forest for the trees.

Look, I am sorry that so many of you seem to not be understanding what I am trying to say, but, I am smart enough to know that there is no way that I can explain it because we all believe what we believe and have a hard time seeing another result.

I will say this, I don't think that anyone put white in for the purpose of promoting diversity, however, I am trying to say that we apparently have a problem accepting couples as being anything outer then salt and pepper shaker matches. What I am saying that the idea of mixed relationships, whether accidental or not is a far better then enforcing the thought that all couples must be perfect matches physically. Putting them in to "whiten" it up really, accidentally, supported the diversity of human beings.

As I said, I'm sorry that I probably cannot make myself clear on that point, but, that is what I consider a positive result of possibly a bigoted intention.

Thanks, we hope to do an easy Disney trip.No adr's and only a couple of rides we don't want to miss. I hope to see the new Soarin' and the Anna and Elsa ride in Epcot. Other than that we are going to do spur of the moment things. We will not be going to play minature golf. I'm so afraid of snakes.
If you want to do FEA and don't have a fp be super early for rope drop at the far left side or wait until almost closing. Soarin should be a bit easier. Good luck

Don't remember there being one called that in '75 :cautious:
I dont know why the whole naming thing reminded me of the Ellen name statistics.
Where it was so famous and then dove to record lows thanks to Ellen coming as lesbian.
Then the popularity increasing years later then taking a dive when she married her partner lol.

Except the talk subject was never about relationships or "salt and pepper".
Was talking about how racist executives pushed for "white actors" always (regardless of popularity or skills) into positions and characters that are in no way whites. (aka culture appropriation) then they also bastardize the story to make it somehow involve western powers (when it never did). Its incredible rude and disrespectful.
