Never even tried White Castle stuffing, because we don't have that around here. (We don't have White Castles in our area.)

My favorite stuffing comes from a box--Bells Stuffing. Yum. And to the stuffing mix, I also put in a little extra of their (separate) special seasoning. (A Bostonian, William G. Bell, back in 1867, created his mixture of seasonings. Rosemary, oregano, sage, ginger, marjoram, thyme and pepper--and that's the same salt-free mixture is still sold today.) :hungry:

I've never heard of either. When I searched it said it was a New England and Northeast stores. Also said some other major stores throughout the US. I'll have to take a look. I'm curious enough to try if I can find. Maybe I wouldn't hate Sage if the balance was better (far less Sage) Do you add any veggies like celery or onion? How much seasoning?

I really only love homemade stuffing but every once in awhile when I just need a little to stuff a roast or pork chop I will do a ready made version and doc it up a little.

Stranger Things, literally 3 series into one, 3 groups of people (kids, teens and adults) all fighting for different parts in a very entangled story about experiments during the 70's. It involves government drama, mystery, thriller, scifi and outright terror.
Think of it Silent Hill meets X-files and e.t..

dark matter and the expanse are TV SCIFI dramas, The Expanse is more thriller, political and fight drama with quite a bit of horror.
Dark Matter is more goofy and light hearted.
Interesting. Maybe I'll have to catch up when school ends.

tons of great content on imgur tonight..
this one is for @Gabe1 http://imgur.com/gallery/X5yUdUs

Thank you. :inlove: What a sweet Pup.

My DD and I got our Pup fix when we went to ScareCrow Fest. They actually said Pups welcome! We asked many a person if we could pet their pup. I came across a Dudley Retriever and had heard of them but never met one.

Some kennel associations accept them into pure bred status, some do not and believe they are flawed genetically lab retrievers. I can understand the argument but this pup was beyond sweet and well behaved.

But I like sweet potatoes! :cautious: Especially with some butter, brown sugar and cinnamon! :hungry:

See, I think I don't like them because they SWEET potatoes. Adding sugar to them would likely make them even worse, same with marshmallows. Don't get that combo unless it possibly masks the taste of the sweet potato. ;)

Me, I always tend to lean to the savory foods. :hungry:

Yeah, the entire county was evacuated. That would have been rough.

My stepgrandfather's daughter has a house in Hilton Head (although they live up here). I hope their house is okay. There were reports that there was damage to some of the homes in their neighborhood. No word on Disney's property, but there were reports from passersby on the beach that there was no visible damage to the Beach House. No word on the central property, but the greatest worry is likely the bridge leading to the property and downed trees. All the buildings themselves are on stilts, so the flooding probably was not a huge deal.

Fingers crossed.

Yep, seriously there is such a thing! ;) We've done it a couple times, but only if we can get them fresh - the frozen ones don't make really great dressing... :hungry::hungry::hungry::hungry:

Oh my goodness! Can't believe I've lived this long and near enough White Castles that I never have heard of White Castle, Slider Stuffing. Hold the pickle.

Today's learning curve.

I just hope these companies are not again skimming on maintenance.
I still remember the horrible DC10 accident from American Airlines that was filmed and seen by thousands of people.
the plane engine on the right wing detached on takeoff, rolled from top and ripped most of the wing.. the plane tanked badly to one side and crashed terribly.
They found that both Continental , American airlines and another airline were using non approved and cheaper methods to dismount engines using a forklift.. cracking the "pylons" that hold the engines on the wing.

I will never forget the DC10 crash out of Ohare. It is maybe a couple miles from where I grew up most of my life. The start of Memorial Day weekend. The emergency plan has a back up plan for makeshift ambulances. They were lined up awaiting a victim and a hospital destination. Then them all being dismissed. I was leaving for St Louis. We wound up driving.

Thats not that bad, I wonder if they have to ration the food (is it one lunch box per day? or are they getting 3 lunch boxes a day available to purchase?)

And as a follow up to what I was reading and SOME guests having issue with was the sandwich. Some called it non editable and some others took issue with issue with that. As I was reading through all the blah blah blah I had an aha! moment. I then got what they meant by non editable vs undesirable or price worthy.

The non editable was because the sandwich was placed in the container unwrapped. Those were meant for rations for the next day though some had them that evening but were still likely assembled hours before. Those styrofoam boxes are not free of air and you know what happens to white bread when exposed to air, it gets stale and dried out very quickly. If we all look back at our sandwiches put in a lunch box when we were kids they were mostly wrapped in foil, wax paper, baggie, ziplock sandwich bag, saran wrap, but wrapped. Even places like subway and Jersey Mikes wrap their sandwiches and grab and go sandwiches are wrapped. I can only imagine my sandwich as a kid how stale it would have been if my Mom tossed it in my lunchbox unwrapped.

So now I get the non editable that someone on twitter finally explained well enough to stop the fanboyism tweets.
A learning curve for Disney and a fair criticism of an unwrapped, stale sandwich. Fair enough.
