I've been posting a little in the Hurricane Matthew thread, but, I don't think I've mentioned here that their cruise was, of course, cancelled.
Their friend has graciously offered to put them up for their entire stay through Monday night, along with 2 other ladies from their group that were with them in Epcot today. One from Canada, and one from Scotland.
They plan on hitting MK on Sun. Or Mon. Fingers crossed.
I pray our silly girls stay safe, as it looks like the storm may have taken a bit of a western hop.

I think its called STAR vs the forces of evil. also gravity falls was very popular.

Can I tell you how glad I am that I'm not down there at WDW now??!! It's a rare thing for me to say that on a normal work day here (although, I'm taking off today for a 4-day Columbus Day holiday weekend!!), but seriously, I would hate to be there during all this.

Let's hope safety to all guests and hard-working CMs. I've been watching the early morning news for a few hours now, and multiple counties down there are bracing for high winds and water. Prayers to all.

Well, I'm not going to WDW (then again, I wasn't anyway! ;) ) Actually, no big fun plans. I just needed a stretch of days to do "stuff" at a leisurely pace. Needed a break from the work rat race and commuting (3 hours a day) rat race. Tonight is Friday night, so hubs and I go to our favorite, local restaurant and see our pals there. I also hope to get in 4 days of walks in the woods, or 1-2 days of bike riding for exercise. Oh, my dog loves it when I'm home; he thinks I'm here for his entertainment. :p

That all sounds like so much fun! Much better than my weekend. My dh won't be here so I have no excuse not to gets things done.:( At least the house will be clean and mount laundry conquered. i have no clue how it was all done a couple of days ago and has mysteriously reappeared:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Perhaps a few hitchhiking ghosts from the Haunted Mansion tagged along with the family, when you returned from WDW. (I imagine even ghosts need their clothes washed every week as well--they're sly little buggers--you can't see the clothing on them in their ghostly presence, but once you're out of eye-range, they throw their dirty clothes in your laundry pile. Clothes are visible at that point. Haven't you noticed some odd-looking clothes in the laundry lately? o_O ;) )
