I remember one trip back before Chocolate World opened and you could take the monorail over to tour the factory they sold Hershey bars for 1/2 price. Slightly off center labels but who cared it was chocolate:)

Cool. That reminds me of a cookie factory that was in my hometown, when I was a kid. They had a back door (no kidding--a back door . . . ) in the factory, where you could go and buy broken cookies for short money! HA! No kidding--my mother used to go there a lot and bring home bags of cookies, that looked like they had been dropped from the top of the Empire State Building! :hilarious: (But it never affected the taste.) :D

@Cesar R M , I'm enjoying your TR!! The pictures are great. (I particularly liked the photos in Ft. Lauderdale--that wooden bridge for runners was very attractive. It's also better for runners to have a little spring under them, versus them running on hard pavement, for example.)

Too bad you had that one hiccup from the check-in person (while you were in the Uber car) when trying to get to the cruise ship. That whole situation was strange. Uber and taxis are very common, and it's baffling about the response received there. Anyway, I'm glad that you and your mom finally got on board the ship. Looks like a nice ship (even if you mentioned it wasn't quite as nice as the Disney ships), and the weather looked pleasant.

Looking forward to reading more! :)

That being said, I'm not ever going to be frustrated enough to get a Mac.

Macs are wonderful lovely to use computers. However, there is a little thing called price. I bought mine on Black Friday 2010 and it was still 1750 plus 50 more for Word/Excel. And they have gone up in price in the years since. But my computer is working fine....not as fast as a brand new one. Which I should go to a Mac store but they probably won't do anything for me.

Of course when I get another one, the Pro is out. The Air is cheaper - same with the desktop.

I'll bet you caught it at Disney . . . I've come home sick from that place a few times! :cautious:

Probably, a lot of kids at school are sick though, so who knows where I caught it. I'm feeling slightly better than last night so even though I hate to be sick on a weekend at least I didn't have to take a day off of work. I definitely would not have been functional at work today.

Speaking for myself only, hubs and I are out on Friday nights. But I'm here now. Heck, it's almost 6 AM -- where are you? It's late, for heaven's sake, c'mon--get up!! :D

I was awake at 6am, I slept terrible last night. But my phone and computer were downstairs. I didn't want to wake up hubby with going down to get them.

I almost forgot to share with you all.... I wore the shirt shown below at school the other day and I got a lot of compliments from the students. But they all thought he was a character from Dragon Tales or some other manga show. They were baffled when I said he was actually a character from a wdw theme park. I wanted to cry a little.

It's OK we can all just use our imagination to turn it the right way round :D

My DD remembers the entire Figment attraction, all the versions but says many even her age do not get Figment. Maybe too old when first introduced to have seen him in all of his glory unlike now.

The topic came up when they announced the Character Spot where it is now will be closing for Chase and reopening both at the Imagination pavilion and also a new greet at the World of Disney where they give you pagers. Shop until your number comes up for a Pic.
Now that is a new spin on marketing! It will be weird to have anything but Figgy Characters in Imagination spot.

I love this time of day! No traffic, no noise and I get myself organized. Same with Disney up early rope drop get the check list done and enjoy the rest of my day!

See I can't say I enjoy getting up early at Disney. The only day that we slightly slept in was the WaterPark morning and even then we got up and headed over for breakfast because we didn't want to eat at Typhoon. I do get up early everyday at Disney because you kinda have to not because I wouldn't like to sleep in a few more hours. By the end of our trip I was really tired.
