You need to configure the other energy states in the Power settings.

Microsoft by default as 2 states for laptops.. unplugged and plugged.
They are separated option wise.
You will need to wade deep into the Energy and Power settings to change for each state.

For example, use "Max performance" mode to disable any kind of sleep mode or himbernation (good if your computer is constantly busy rendering or doing stuff).

Windows might have other names too.. like "Balanced", "Power Saver". You can change these power plan settings anytime.
Thanks. I'll try it and see if it works. If not, I'll contact Microsoft.

Yep, I'm betting even more than me...! :D ;)
I understand @Cesar R M has been through a lot, and 12-hour days are draining (remember, I worked many 12-hour days those 4 years I was in retail, and that was in my mid-late 40's), but, from my perspective anyway, early-mid 30's isn't even remotely close to old in this day and age. :cyclops:
Believe it or not, its the opposite in my country.
Once you reach the late 30's and 40's, you're classified as "Dont hire unless emergency".
Why? because older than 30's knows better about law, want better pay. Companies in Mexico dont give a darn about efficiency or knowledge, the just want cheap hands to move stuff (hence why Mexico as very low efficiency in most workplaces)

I'm not a fan of the cases from Disney. They are so cute but they are not all that great at protecting. I'm a fan of Speck.

Yep, we had many at the Disney Store at one point. They were definitely cute, but, they were a fail in too many other ways.
I've had Speck for my last 2 iPhones.
Had nothin' for my Crackberry Torch.

This is the one I have now for my 6s...

Kinda' reminds me of Star Wars...! ;)

That's a really smart move. Many times, it's not so much what we eat (although we all know what healthy choices are), but how MUCH we eat. I have to watch portion size, too. And like you said, you get two meals, so you 're saving a bit of money too! ;)

Hahaaa...! Thanks!
I ain't the sharpest knife in the drawer, but, I used to always clean my plate, no matter what. :cyclops:
But, then I'd waddle out feelin' kinda' not so great. Now I eat more slowly, and usually leave about half to go.
Not all the time, sometimes I still clean all plates involved ;), but, not nearly as much as I used to...! :)

The weird part is how this happened twice. I remember reading that it had happened a few ago. Similar issue.

Also it doesnt help that they said the government somehow pushed the installation of more safeguards until 2018 from the 2016 deadline.

This exact government behavior reminds me exactly what happened in fukushina in Japan. Where reactors 1 and 2 were supposed to be offline and reactors 5 and 6 doing its job. (reactors 1 and 3 fussed in the accident if I remember correctly). Technology that has been going since its first iteration caused part of the chain reaction of events.

Yep. Sad isn't it. I know the government gave them a very short timeframe to install the collision avoidance. Realistic. Add in funding. You can't just raise public transportation fares that much to cover all this.

I wonder if you are recalling our similar instance here in Chicago with our light rail a year ago spring.

For what I read in one of the news websites. Is that they were supposed to install the tech a long time ago. But where delaying it again and again.
Who knows, perhaps the investigation will shed some light of what was going on. Hopefully NOT bribing and corruption.

Yep this is the Thursday night special. Though it is not nearly as nicely plated as @Tuvalu hubby's Lasagna from Epcot Italy but certainly rivaled the size and was beyond yummy. It could have easily fed two of us. I ate 1/4. Tonight it came with a big box of garlic bread and sauce. I ate two. I've just learned to eat less over time as my body ages and I actually get full quicker (most of the time)

I think I'd have handled it better if he had included me in the decision. We had always said we'd have 3, and when DS was born, I didn't get so weepy because I knew we'd have another one...it wasn't my last baby. And then came the time we had always said we wanted to have the 3rd...about 3-4 years after the first 2. (We had picked out names, discussed timing, etc.) Suddenly he says he's content with the 2 and that's the end of the discussion. We didn't even talk about it, he never mentioned he was having second thoughts or anything. It was just...he had made the decision and that was it. I could understand if it was a dangerous situation or if one of the kids had serious health issues that took up a lot of our time and energy. But I felt like, in any case, I should kind of be included in the decision making on that. And not being the kind of woman who would just stop using the pill, my hands were tied. I still feel almost a loss of the baby I never got to have even though I feel it's too late now. Does that sound stupid?

Nope, doesn't sound stupid at all. DWifey and I have talked about the 4th child we never had, but, we have never dwelled on it. And, we agreed, mutually, based on the situation at the time, that 3 kiddo gifts were enough.
They are awesome kiddos, but, one has special needs, and as a few others here can attest, it ain't no cakewalk.
Sorry it wasn't a mutual decision with you and your husband.

BTW...
DS started his first real job at a local Salvation Army store on Tuesday.
Apparently, from the reviews we've been getting from his supervisors and the social worker, he's been doing great...!!!
This has not been an easy road for him, and never will be, but, as when we brought him into the world, we knew it woudn't be. But, he has always been so full of life...even the NICU nurses and Docs said that is the only explanation they have for him surviving in the first place...!
This is a major step for him...! :)

I bought a calculator at Walgreens for $7.00 a few weeks ago. I like it. It adds, subtracts, multiplies and divides.
I thought about getting a calculator but decided against it. I'm cheap $7 not spent on a calculator equaled $7 extra for groceries that week. $7 equaled the cost of an overflowing half bushel of eggplants. See math no calculator needed:D
