I was pretty sure they offered healthier options, I just thought the pic of the sign and the pics of the product you posted were an interesting juxtaposition...kinda' like having a "salad" with fajita meat, cheese, doused in ranch dressing, etc....! ;)

I could have sworn they were about ready to open a FroYo in our local mall about the time I left the Disney Store, but, when I google it, I don't even get a hit on one anywhere in Austin...?!
Maybe it just didn't make it? I remember it was taking them a really long time to get it open, maybe it never even opened. Don't know... :cyclops:

Yeah, they are a franchise so much goes into the the whole deal, space, rent etc. If they got stupid with your clothing gig no telling what they did to newbie wanta bee's

Oh my...!
The nurses kept askin' me, but, there wasn't a single time in all those hours I even felt lightheaded, but, from as many times as they inquired, I figured it must happen often...!

It didn't even phase me when Doc did the episiotomy and blood squirted all over one of my black Kaepa tennis shoes...!!!  ;)

I have three brother in laws. One good apple. This wasn't one of them.

Carp. I did go to Target this morning and looked down every aisle in the Halloween section (which had multiple aisles). I did see a small "food" section (orange cupcake mix, etc.), but I didn't pay too much attention to that part as I was scouring the candy aisles--thinking the marshmallows would be there. Alas . . . :( No fun marshmallows for Minnie . . .

Next weekend?

That is the aisle I found them in with the cupcakes mixes etc.

All right People!!

I'm going to Start with my TRIP REPORT.

As you know before the trip I was writing little bits of issues. So going over them.
PRETRIP REPORT:

  • Started packing 2 weeks before the trip. Making the usual decisions of what to put in my bag. So the content is pretty much straight forward. One group of clothes for every day plus 4 additional socks, plus swimsuit, additional underwear, and 2 sets of clothes for emergency, the classic toilet kit ( Shampoo, Shaving kit, deodorant, creams, brush, mini Kleenex kit, and pills for stomatcache.)
  • For the technical aspect, I had to make a full backup of my email profile and browser profile, and transferred it to my surface pro 3. So I could still get in touch with my bosses, because despite what they promised. I still got contacted during my trip (not the first time lol, so I was prepared). Also for the camera aspect, I took video mostly with my cellphone on small venues that did not require zoom. Also packed up my camera with my classic 24-105mm lens, and a 150-600mm lens. 2 batteries, battery charger and a basic cleaning kit.
  • Shoes, Sandals and of course a huge long pillow as "barrier" to fill the baggage correctly( we were going to buy small mementos. so We had a bit of empty space to fill). It was the best idea to bring the pillows, because I was not a fan of the new "4 very small pillows" trend on all hotels at Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale.
  • Called to ensure all my reservations were set. The first scared me because the hotel changed of ownership and names. But in the end, everything was allright. Ironic because the one that really gave us trouble, was the one at Fort Lauderdale. Where they claimed that the reservation was canceled months ago (with no notification).
  • The Roll call. As usual it was only me and my mother. We had planned this trip around 6 months ago. And I was hella stressed because of the issues with my implant processor, work issues and my debt levels. So needed some cooldown with a well deserved vacation.
  • Found a very cheap rate by going "hacker fare". We went from my hometown (Puerto Vallarta) to Mexico city and then to Miami international Airport via Interjet. A local mexican low fare airline.
  • The return trip was by United, which was the cheapest. Even with the 25 USD first bag upcharge. Going the route of Fort Lauderdale to Houston then to PVR.
  • For mobility, we were going to use only Uber. Taxis are way too overpriced in Miami. Tours, we bought most of them using my job's contact links. saving us 20% on average on retail costs.
  • The Weather had us worried as well. As the pattern while perfect according to weather.com. Allowed a SINGLE DAY of sun for each of our stops in the Caribbean and on Miami area.Which technically could change anytime. specially with the close proximity of hurricanes and tropical storms.
  • Turns out.. We lucked out as we got PERFECT weather (all full sun) on ALL DAYS except the last sea day on the cruise. Which was cloudy and was kinda rainy (good thing all the stuff we were going to do was indoors).

I'm not a fan of the cases from Disney. They are so cute but they are not all that great at protecting. I'm a fan of Speck.
Thats pretty usual on almost all the decorative cases. They are for show, not protecting.
Reminds me of these horrible chemical burns some people got from "liquid glittery" type phone cases made in china.
It turns they used very strong acids to keep the glue-like substance to remain liquid and transparent with the glitter.

But when it breached.. delivered nasty damage the clothes and then to the skin.

Although they are less pungent than regular onions they can cause tearing if you cut up enough of them

I slice rounds of Valdilla Onions and put them out on the grill with a bit of Pam and lightly salted and freeze many of them. They are very sweet and go so well with my winter foods. Years ago I had a client that sent me a freak'n case of them every year. Kinda miss that.

Should be extremely interesting. In the meantime, it's just absolutely terrible. There was a video of the Marlin's manager trying to keep it together during the press conference. They turned their ballpark into a memorial, with his number on the pitcher's mound and there are pictures of his teammates kneeling at the mound, which are absolutely heartbreaking. All teams paid tribute to him today. I was there for the Orioles' tribute. Not a dry eye in the stadium. David Ortiz, who was playing his last game at Tropicana Field, was supposed to have a pregame ceremony like he has had elsewhere. He asked for it to be cancelled in lieu of the tragedy. That was a classy move.

My DD was in mourning today as she learned that several were shot at the University of Illinois the night before, one died. All of this kind of tradic death is overwhelming. When we go down to visit her University a few times a year we have a hotel we favor. The shooting was on the same street about 3 blocks down. Unnerving.

They have so many toppings to choose from. At Uof I they have a knock off down there that is a favorite of my DD. Same set up, same offerings, just not a franchise.

In the morning Froyo also offers a steel cut oatmeal too where you add in toppings.

This Froyo is in the heart of the Michigan Avenue area of downtown Chicago. Gets lots of both tourist and business people in there.
I need to find one of those. Everything looks so yummy!
