I just was glancing through this thread and noticed that any mention of me has seemed to completely dropped off the radar so another injection of Goofyernmost life is seeming to be necessary. I did post a picture of a VW Passat that wasn't the one that I was getting and I finally have one of the actual vehicle. I apologize because I'm sure that many of you have been having trouble sleeping nights anxiously awaiting the following picture, so without any further ado or BS... here it is!

Just curious, since you used to live in Vermont--did you also have the (actual color) red hot dogs up there, too? I LOVE the red hot dogs they sell in Maine. They're probably total garbage (if you boil them, you can see the red dye in the water! :hilarious: ) But, they are so tasty!! :hungry: (I don't have them often, because they're really hard to find in my state.) Note: These are not the Michigan red hots you referred to. Just wondering if you also had the Maine version.

Every summer when we took our annual trip from No Cal back to Texas to my mothers hometown our relatives would throw a weenie roast. It was always the red ones from the local butcher shop...sooo darn good grilled...!!!
Good times...!!!!! :hungry:

There are certain accomodations, one more time, use of specific equipment and written instructions. The time can be 50 to100% more under certain circumstances.
Weird, because the "boss" of this english school was very direct.
The TOEFL test is standardized, and doesn't matter if you're Madonna or President Washington. You will still get the same timelines according for everyone. Not sure about IELTS.

We went to dinner at Margaritaville Mall of America tonight, it just opened a few days ago so of course we had to check it out. Had a nice meal and I'm sure we will be back in the winter to get our tropical vibe when it is negative twenty! Here's a few pictures....

The decor is a little more subdued than some other Margaritavilles I've been to, but still cool.

Mall of America, as in the one mall that has an entire theme park inside themed to Nickelodeon?

The moment you read a tweet that says Splash closed due to a small fire....:jawdrop:

Read a few more tweets that the fire alarms just went off but know fire....

Happiness when you read on to see Splash is now open again...
Who knows, there are people so bad at cooking that they can set fire to a salad. So what if theres an employee at Splash thats so bad at his work.. that caused a fire! :p

I'm not registered to vote. I just think Trump is arrogant. Observation as a person, not a political thing at all.
Since he has a loooong story of being like that in the apprentice and all his past shows. I agree. The bad thing is, you cant even talk anything about his person nowadays.. because it is "politics".

Woof! Glad all turned out OK!!! :)
Yep, all 3 kiddos were quite the ride, but, it was worth it...!!!!!
Oldest DD simply because she was our first. You can read all the books you want, and hear all the advice from others, but, nothing can ever truly prepare you for becoming a parent your own darn self...!!! :hilarious:
DS for the obvious 1lb. 4oz. 4.5 month NICU visit and other issues that still continue.
Youngest DD for the bleeding scare.
But, I wouldn't trade any of them for anything...EVER...!!!!!
So true. I read a few books and websites, etc, but I was not prepared for how I would feel after the labor. I had been expecting the labor part to be bad, but I hadn't realized how battered my whole body would feel. My back muscles were so sore that I couldn't get into a sitting position myself, and then the stitches...oh my. How does one even sit?? I was much more prepared for it with my son, knowing what to expect, and then it wasn't NEARLY that bad with him. I don't know if that's because I was expecting it that time, or if I really was in better shape because it was so much shorter!
I have to say I was glad to be over here though, because they give you a nurse at home for a few hours a day for the first week. They teach you everything...how to bathe the baby, how to nurse, they keep track of things like your temperature and your stitches to make sure you don't get an infection. They clean your shower, make snacks for you...and if they have time, they'll even do laundry for you, or watch an older child for you while you take a shower. They get you going for that first week so by the time they leave, you know you can do it by yourself. It's an amazing thing!

I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, but, I was never dumb enough to say that...I knew darn well WE weren't pregnant, SHE was...!!! :hilarious:
The other thing that blows my mind (sadly), is how many couples seem to not discuss if they want to start a family, much less how big they want it to be, before they say their vows. DWifey and myself had that sorted out waaaaayyyyyyy before we ever said our "I dos"
Sorry, but, seriously people...?!?!?! o_O
We even had names picked out for our eventual children. 3 girls names and 3 boys names in case we had all kids of one gender. Somehow, hubby changed our decision about having a 3rd child without consulting me...he just decided "we" were satisfied with 2. I'm not real happy about that, but there's not much I can do about it. No amount of discussion has persuaded him otherwise, and now that DD is 10, I don't want to go through the diaper and nursing stages again, not to mention nap times and more school runs. So I guess we're just done.
